1 year later🫶🏾.
it's been a year since kelsey and jackie got married. they moved into a new house simply because they wanted a fresh start as a newly wed couple.
ofc they are both still playing the aces neither of them have the heart to leave.. it's their home. jackie miscarried their first child together which put a strain on their relationship. she felt like kelsey didn't see or love her the same because of it.
gianna is now 17 and a half and is now a senior in high school. ofc she already committed to uconn to continue her basketball career.
she and bryce are still together and although they are going to different colleges they knew their love was strong enough to long distance. bryce hadn't chosen were he's attending college but they both knew it would most likely be in california.
jada, kk, and juju were all still besties ofc and them being seniors were bittersweet. kk committed to uconn as well while jada committed to the university of arizona. and juju committed to the university of southern california.
but ofc they were all happy for each other and excited for each others new journey's to begin.

"okay so i just finished ordering all of my college stuff" i said closing my laptop.
"omgg stop" my mom said.
"girl you grew up to fast" jackie said.
"right ?? like it's like i was just holding her in my arms for the first time. head full of hair, one ear bigger than the other, and she was screaming with all her little strength" my mom said making me giggle.
"so is this the part where we cry ?? cus im like so clingy and going to college so far away scare me" i said.
"girl you will be fine. im the one that's gotta cry. my only baby going off to be great but it's okay cus your gonna be amazing and i couldn't be more proud of you." my mom said.
"and you only have a few weeks left until graduation so yk that's more crying" my mom said.
"and your about to turn 18 ?? like d*** it just don't stop" she added.
"okay so you guys wanna do a movie night ?" mama asked.
"yes mommy just bought a new scary movie and everyone says its really good" i said.
i went to my room to shower and then went downstairs where my parents were on the couch. i sat in the middle of them and we started the movie. i love this little life and it makes me not wanna go to college but ik i gotta follow my heart and dreams.
"this is cute" my mom said staring at my ring.
"oh thank you. bryce got if for me a promise ring since we're both going to college and gonna be long distancing" i said.
"a promise ring ?? oh baby he fully committed to that relationship ain't it ?" mama said making us laugh.
"as he should be cus i thought i was gone have to beat tf out of him cus he ain't wanna do right" my mom said.
i laid my head on her chest and held hands with jackie. i never thought my mom would really be happy again after my dad left cus she was scared of getting hurt but God really sent her, her person. someone he knew she needed.

"you okay ?" she asked.
"yeah im perfectly fine why ?" i asked.
