Chapter 3

"He just need rest. You know him Gem. If he's stress, he will surely have fever. I have submitted his medical certificate at Dean's Office before I bringing him home. I also cooked some porridge for him, just reheat it if he want to eat later.

"Thanks Pond. I awe you one. Thanks for looking after him and even skipping class."

"Who said I skipped class? I don't do that."

"But..."

"My professor offer online class. I told him what happened and what I have to do, so he asked me to do online class for today, so I don't missed anything."

"That's good to hear then."

"Anyway, I have to go. I need to pick up mom at the airport."

"Sure.Take care. Give my regards to your mom."

"Sure."

I remain still, eye close until I heard the door close. I try to sit but my brother push me back to bed.

"Sleep Phu. Rest as much as you can."

"I have lot of things to do." I try to sit again, but Gemini push me back again.

"I'll take care of it. The rest of your assignment is an essay. I can do it. Pond already finished the others."

"Gemini."

"Rest, Phuwin unless you want to spend the rest of your night in the hospital."

"No."

"Then, rest."

I nod.my head and pull the blanket up to my neck.

How I ended up having a high fever and was sent home by the university clinic?

I didn't sleep earlier. I can't sleep and it's all because of Pond.

How can I even sleep if I am laying on his lap while his hand is on my waist preventing me to fall on the ground?

How can I sleep if we are both in that position?

Just laying on his lap, my heart was going crazy. And when he put his arm on my waist saying it will stop me from falling, my heart almost jumped out if my chest. I can clearly hear my heartbeat. I can feel the fast rhythm. His smell made all my nerves and cells go crazy.

My brain can't even process what happened.

After 30 minutes, I vomitted. Stress and nervousness is a very perfect combination. The combination I hate so much. Pond immediately sent me to the clinic. My body temperature gone crazy. I have a 39.2 temperature. I was advice to rest. Pond submit my medical certificate to the Dean's office. After that he bring me home when the doctor allowed me.

He stayed with me at home until Gemini arrived. He even cook food for me and try to fed me but I refuse to eat. My stomach will not accept any food at that moment. I don't want to puke anymore. All I want is for him to go home so that I can sleep. As much as I want him to stay, my body should come first. Being in the hospital is my very least option.

"Sleep, Phuwin or I bring you to the hospital."

I look at Gemini and pouted. He know I hate hospital. I hate the smell of the medicine there. Besides there's no need for him to scared me like a kid. Now that Pond is gone, I can finally sleep.

I wake up feeling better. No chills, headaches nor heavy feeling. I'm totally good.

Before I step down my bed, I check first my temperature to make sure that I don't have fever at all. I also checked the time and it's already past 8, almost 9 in the evening. I sleep 4 hours, still not enough though. If I don't sleep again I might have another high fever and a big chance of being in hospital the whole night.
