Chapter 6

My first night at the room is not bad.

I am not used of sleeping in other house or places but I sleep soundly last night. I was thinking why, because, even my brother and Pond was worried that I might not able to sleep. But it turns out that I was sound as sleep. As per Pond, he keep making unecessary noise last night since he was working on his project, but I don't even wake up. He was actually preparing himself that if I woke up because of his noise, I would be angry. But, surprisingly, I didn't even move an inch on my position.

Maybe it is because I know that I have someone with me or I'm just too tired of moving in. Whatever it is, I am happy that I have enough sleep.

"Are you hungry? Do you want to eat first?" Pond asked me. We are at the Rain tree aisle, waiting for Gemini and Fotfot. Gem is submitting his paper works and Fourth accompanied him.

"Yeah, but let's wait for them." I answered.

"Here. Eat this first." He handed me some chocolate.

I curiously look at him. "Why?"

I love chocolates but I always control myself when eating it because it's either I become hyper or I can't sleep at night. I only eat chocolates if I'm too hungry but can't buy nor eat other food for some reason. Pond is aware of it as he loves eating chocolates and Gem has to tell him not to give me chocolates all the time.

"Gem send me a message. He said that it might take him 30 minutes to submit his paper since most of his classmates submit their also today."

"He message you but not me." I pouted my lips and took the small pack of chocolate from his hand. I opened it and take  a big bite from it.

"I'm his friend." Pond shrugged his shoulder and sit opposite in me.

"I'm his brother, twin to be exact." I said it in sarcastic way.

"He loves me more than you."

That make me stop on what I am doing. I look at Pond seriously.

Why does it sounds like more than it has to be. Like Pond is saying Gem love him more than a friend, that's why Gem love him more than me.

"Fine." I close my notebook and stand up. "You wait for them, I'll eat my lunch first."  I said. That's quite painful for me, especially I start of overthinking everything since last night.

I was about to leave when Pond grab my wrist. "Phu, I'm just joking. He went in front of me and push me down to sit. "Gem asked me to inform you about it."

"It's okay. No need to lie."

I feel betrayed. I am his brother. He should informed me first right? Unless, of course, they are in relationship. Or, maybe they are. I saw how sweet they are last night. Gem stayed with us until 9pm. He helped us move but he helped Pond more. I don't care about it though, coz I don't want someone, even Gem, touched my things or arranged them for me. But, they are really sweet last night. If I don't know they are friends, I might think that they are lover.

Or maybe, they are.

"I am not lying." Pond said and fished out his phone from his pocket. "Here. See it for yourself."

I feel embarrased but still sulking at Gem after reading their conversation. I give back Pond's phone to him.

"He just don't want to send me a message." I murmured but I know Pond heard it.

"Aiyo. Phuphu is sulking." He said, smiling at me. He reach for my head and caress it.

I glared at me and pout. I couldn't be mad at him. I'm annoyed but not to him. I guess that's how it works when you love someone.

"Don't sulk to Gem, okay? You know he don't want to disturb you whe  your studying especially if you are studying for your exam or quiz."

I just nodded my head.

"Besides, he loves me more than you."

I glared again to him and he just laugh hard.

"Your bullying him again Pond."

Pond and I turn around and saw Gem and Fotfot walking toward us. I check my wrist watch. 15 minutes.

"I thought it would be thirty minutes?" Pond asked Gem.

"I thought so, but Fotfot do something that make my classmate let me submit first." Gem looked at Fourth and shook his head.

I looked at Fotfot and was about to asked what he did, but he suddenly run towards me drag me away from Pond and Gem.

"Alaiwa Fot?" I asked while trying to stop him from running.

"Gem is mad at me." Fotfot answered.

"Why? What did you do?" I pulled my arm from him sucessfully. He also stop from running.

"What did you do, Fot?" I asked again. I walked in front of him. I was shocked when I saw a tears running down his cheeks.

"I did something that made Gem embarrassed." Fotfot said, try not to sob.

I look at my brother who is now walking toward us with Pond. Gemini with his deadpan face and Pond with his big teasing smile.

"What happened?" I look at Fot quickly then look at my brother again. I made a sign that Fotfot is crying, making my brother face change emotion.

"I just... I just said that..."

"Let's go Phu. Let's go ahead of them in the pantry. Let your brother deal with Fotfot." Pond said smiling widely while tapping Gemini's shoulder.

"But..." My words were cut off when Pond put one of his arm on my shoulder and the other one turning me around. This is the first time he did it to me and I was really shocked.

"Talk to Fotfot later. Let your brother deal with it first. Also, you have to eat now, so that you can still have to review for your long quiz later."

"How did you know about it, Pond? I curiously asked. I never mention that I have a long quiz later after my short quiz on the diffetent subject.

"I know everything when it comes to you little Phu."

"Huh? What do you mean?"

"I mean what it's mean."
