At Ishika's mansion

Ishika's pov

After I told maid to tell Mr. Khurana the way to Ritu's room, I walked towards the main door.

"Ishii" dad shouted.

"What happened dad? Everything is okay, right?" I said running in a slow speed towards him.

"There is nothing to be tensed. It's just I wanna talk about something. Ashwin's family is also coming."he said. Mr Khurana's family, wow. Doesn't my dad being too close to his family.

"So you want my ¼ day, half day or full day." I asked. Obviously, I have to inform Manvi about it so that she can handle it.

"Uhh. Why are you like this? Anyways I think maximum 2-3 hours. So option A, ¼ day." He said being irritated. What else can I say?

"Hmm" I said.

We both sat on the sofa.

"Is everything alright between you both?" He said.

"Between whom?" I asked texting Manvi that I would be late.

"You and Ashwin."

"Nothing is there between us." I said in a Idc tone.

"Oh beta. Why are you like this all the time?" Dad said in an irritated tone.

"Like what?" I told in a cold yet calm voice.

"Beta I will just say give this marriage a chance. He is perfect for you"

'And he might brought back my ishii who died just after her mother died' he said under his breath but I can clearly hear it. I didn't want to stretch the topic so I just stayed quite.

After 10 minutes

Everyone one was here and by seeing their face I can say today's focus is me and Mr. Khurana.

So now everyone is here, I wanna tell you why are we here" Dad announced pointing at me and Mr Khurana.

"So as we know Ashwin and Ishika are engaged and we are so excited for their marriage so I have called the pandit ji so that he can tell a perfect date for their marriage." Dad said with an excitement.

Everyone except me and Mr Khurana started clapping.

But wait where is his brother, what his name is? Ya, Reyaansh. I can't see him anywhere. Is there something suspicious? I need to find it out.

"Ishi, Are you here?" Dad said snapping his finger in front of me.

"Continue" I said

"Ya so in 10 minutes pandit ji is coming so I want Ishi, Ritu and Ashwin here after 10 minutes. Till then go, change your clothes and ya wear something traditional." Dad said commanding me Ritu and Mr Khurana.

"I am not gonna change. If I will change, I am not gonna wear traditional." I said not following dad's command.

"Ishi can't you do this for me?" He said.

"Uhh!! Not again. Your emotional blackmail. Ok then" I said moving towards my room. Mr Khurana also came behind me.

I called my maid and said her to arrange clothes for him.

I entered in my room and went to the closet. I picked a sky blue indo Western dress. This is the only Indian outfit in my closet which was ordered by Ritu. As it was too loose for Ritu she gave it to me.

Till then Mr Khurana's clothes came in the closet.

"Mr Khurana. Your clothes are here. You can change now." I said.
