Chapter 15

Two years had passed and Touma was now a 19 year old college student. He and his girlfriend, Rin were still together and they were even living in an apartment in Shinjuku. He felt something heavy on him and opened his eyes to see Rin positioned above him with her hair grown out. Touma loved her hair, especially the red streak that she had in it. For some reason, Rin was acting introverted like she was up until she met Touma. However, Touma knew that she was acting. He playfully pinched her cheek and this caused her to break character. She laughed before falling down on the bed.

"Touma, you cheater!" Rin bellowed

"Sorry." Touma said as he moved some of his blue hair out from in front of his yellow eyes

Rin's hair was longer now and came down to her middle back. Her love language had also changed now that she was older. She liked to touch Touma's body and this made her feel relaxed... no, not like that!

...in a manner that made her feel comforted and connected to him, like she was recharging her batteries by being close to him. Touma didn't mind, of course. He loved the way she would snuggle up to him, wrapping her arms around his torso, and resting her head on his chest. It was moments like these that he felt grateful for their relationship, for the way they had grown together, and for the way they still managed to make each other laugh.

As Rin lay on the bed, still chuckling, Touma gently stroked her hair, his fingers tracing the red streak that he loved so much. He couldn't help but think about how far they had come since their high school days. They had their ups and downs, like any couple, but they had always found a way to work through their problems together.

"Now, count up your sins." Touma said 

"You remembered Kamen Rider W's catchphrase!" Rin bellowed

"What kind of boyfriend would I be if I didn't remember my girlfriend's favourite Toku?" Touma asked

As Rin lay on the bed, still chuckling, Touma gently stroked her hair, his fingers tracing the red streak that he loved so much. He couldn't help but think about how far they had come since their high school days. They had their ups and downs, like any couple, but they had always found a way to work through their problems together.

Rin's eyes sparkled as she gazed up at Touma, her smile still plastered on her face. "You know, I was thinking," she said, her voice soft and gentle, "maybe we should take a trip together. Just the two of us. You know, to celebrate our two-year anniversary."

Touma's eyes lit up at the suggestion. "That sounds amazing, Rin! Where did you have in mind?"

Rin's face scrunched up in thought. "Hmm, I was thinking maybe somewhere in the countryside. You know, a quiet little town surrounded by nature. We could rent a little cabin and spend our days hiking and exploring."

Touma's grin grew wider. "That sounds perfect. I'll start looking into it right away."

Rin's face relaxed, and she snuggled deeper into Touma's chest. "I'm so glad we're doing this, Touma. I feel like we've been stuck in a rut lately, and this is just what we need to recharge."

Touma wrapped his arms around Rin, holding her close. "I know exactly what you mean, Rin. We've been so focused on our studies and our part-time jobs, we haven't had much time for each other lately. But we're in this together, always."

As they lay there, wrapped in each other's arms, Touma couldn't help but think about how far they had come. From their high school days, when they were just two awkward teenagers trying to navigate their feelings for each other, to now, when they were a confident and loving couple.

Their relationship wasn't without its challenges, of course. There were still days when Touma's popularity got in the way, and Rin felt like she was stuck in his shadow. And there were still days when Rin's introverted nature made it hard for her to open up to Touma. But they had learned to communicate, to listen to each other, and to support each other through thick and thin.
