Hours had passed with you sitting on the couch rambling to Itachi about pointless things that have happened in your life. Even though he already knew most of it, he listened anyways and tried to react normal when hearing about it.
As of now, you were put on the couch with the tv on while he insisted he cooked you something to eat for dinner. As much as you tried to help and getting continuously kicked out of the kitchen, you finally stayed put and watched the show you had put on.
Itachi could hear your huffing and puffing from the kitchen as he tried his best to cook without messing something up. He can cook and he can be good at it but there were times he would mess something up and have to throw the whole dish away. He was hoping he didn't do that this time. After some time, the doorbell had rung throughout the cabin signaling that Sasuke and Obito were now here.
"Can you get that?" Itachi asked from the kitchen, not wanting to tear his focus away.
You hesitated at first but agreed as you stepped over to the front door and unlocked the many locks on it before revealing both guys. They both instantly smiled at the sight of you, making you grow nervous right on the spot as you opened the door wider for them.
"Hi." You said quietly, watching Obito walk in first and give you a quick ruffle on the top of your head.
Sasuke walked in next, giving you a small nod and smile before the both of them disappeared into the kitchen to talk to Itachi.
"Since when do you cook?" Sasuke asked as he stepped inside and looked at the mess his older brother had created.
"I can cook." Itachi replied back with a scoff, looking over at all of the items that were now cooked and ready to be set on the table.
"Right."
"Shouldn't we get going, Itachi?" Obito mumbled, watching him set the massive dishes on the dining room table.
"We can spare a few hours and leave early in the morning." He shrugged, brushing back the strands of his hair that fell out of the lazy ponytail he had done.
"What the fuck happened to Itachi?" Sasuke looked over at him, seeing his demeanor completely different from when he first left with you to the cabin.
He could tell something was a little different and he was acting weird. For the first time Itachi seemed a bit normal without the constant voices in his head telling him to do something. He believed you quieted them down some.
Plus it was weird for him to be in the kitchen cooking dinner for everyone.
"Just because I cooked I'm not me?" He stared at his cousin and brother, giving them a look as they both shrugged and sat down at the table.
Itachi had called you over and as you sat down at the table, you could feel the overpowering feeling of intimation leaking off of all three of them. They tried not to stare too long at you as you poured the food on your plate and shifted slightly.
"Is there something on my face?" You suddenly asked after a moment of silence, making them all look down at the food.
"No no." Obito spoke, stuffing his face full of the food Itachi had made, a sudden hum leaving his lips at the taste. He was caught completely by surprise at how good his food actually was.
"Wow, you actually made a decent meal, Tachi." He started to chuckle, seeing the death glare Itachi had given him and soon closed his mouth.
"Whatever."
A short time had passed after everyone ate and somehow all four of you ended up piled on the large couch and watched a movie Itachi insisted on watching. You noticed something had clicked for him where he seemed a little more comfortable with doing things and being a little open.
