Reconciling

Eiji, and Jason decided to go see Takashi and the others who had been strategizing. Eiji was calling in some favors people owed him. Hailey had gone back to work since she was still on the clock but told Jason she'd get a hold of him later. So now it was just Eiji and Jason going to the office building that was once again being used as the headquarters for the 4 gangs. The building where Damian, Issac, and Norman had grown up and ran the city from was now being used to plot Nephilim's downfall. As the duo walked in the building they went to the floor above the lab where Miles was still working.

They walked inside a room which had been Damian's office back when he was alive, and saw a massive table with maps, pictures of people, and other papers and folders scattered. Mao Ka Long, Takashi Kazama, Musashi Kazama, Alexander Amato, and Mirko Drakin were all there talking.

"How can we be sure he wouldn't?" Takashi asked as Mao Ka Long sighed.

"We can't be sure but I think it's what makes the most sense. At least we know one of the people for sure." Mao Ka Long said as he tapped a folder with an Asian woman's picture on it. The folder was marked Xia Chiu like the document Jason saw on Mile's computer before he went to the police station.

"What's going on?" Jason asked as he and Eiji walked up to the others.

"Oh you guys are back. We believe we've found out Nephilim's plan to bring down our groups, but we can't narrow in on the specifics." Takashi said as he ran a hand through his hair in frustration.

"Near as we can tell he plans on attacking all of us at the same time. That way none of us can go to help the others. We know that Minato is going to continue holding the harbor with his men, and we know that Xia Chiu will be in the attack on me. Mao Ka Long's men have been being attacked by an outside group with an unknown leader, and Amato's men are scattered after the bombing so if he's attacked by a group he has a lot less muscle than before." Mirko said as Jason and Eiji took in the information.

"Who's Xia Chiu?" Jason asked wanting to know why Miles was also looking into them.

"She's the hired killer that attacked Miles. 22 years ago she started killing and we were sent to find her by Damian. We never found her or even knew it was a woman, but it seems Nephilim never stopped looking for them. Now he has someone who has made blending into crowds and killing into an art form." Mao Ka Long said as Eiji looked at him curiously.

"How'd we find out about her if none of you could find her before?" Eiji asked.

"Apparently Archangel also never stopped looking for her. Both he and Nephilim managed to figure out who she was, but Archangel stopped looking for her after finding out her identity. We believe Nephilim however is using her identity to make her kill for him." Musashi said as Mirko looked like a kicked puppy for some reason.

"Well either that or Nephilim promised her the opportunity to kill the person she hates the most in this world." Takashi said looking straight at Mirko.

"The hell did he do this time?" Jason asked already figuring that Mirko had done something since well there were plenty of reasons none of the other gangs did a ton of business with Mirko.

"Oh shut up! How was I supposed to know this would happen!? She was a 15 year old back then!" Mirko yelled as Jason and Eiji were confused.

"Xia Chiu was one of the people that Mirko sold. She managed to escape and has been on the run ever since as far as we can tell. She's spent the last 22 years perfecting her craft, and we believe it'll be her job to ensure Mirko dies when Nephilim starts the final part of his plan." Mao Ka Long explained seeing Jason and Eiji's confusion.

"Are you serious!? Miles almost died because this bastard tried trafficking that woman 22 years ago!?" Jason yelled. He was getting annoyed by how much shit he was being dragged into that he wasn't even involved in. Although he'd never really complain about it because at the end of the day he loved this city and he'd protect it no matter what.
