Dhara woke up only to find Kaal missing. She came down and found all of Kaal's belongings scattered.
Dhara got worried thinking something bad might have happened to Kaal."Kaal, where are you?" she yelled at the top of her voice.
She started running here and there but couldn't find him.
It was at that moment that she heard a call.
Dhara ran to the source of the voice. She found Kaal lying unconscious near the small river.
She took Kaal in her arms and tried to wake him up. But it was of no use. She then checked his pulse and found some kind of highly dangerous poison running through.
Dhara ran back to get her bag.
She took out some herbs and started to make a paste out of them. She wasn't sure if this medicine would help him or not. She remembered her teacher telling her that when mixed, these herbs can make a person poisoned even with the most dangerous poison survive for a few months. But this can help the person only once. If used twice the person might die of the pain caused. She used to carry these herbs every time she left the palace for her safety. She never thought that she will be able to save someone using this.
She didn't waste a single moment. She added some water to it and made Kaal drink it.
When Kaal woke up he found himself in Dhara's arms.
He woke up with a jerk and made the dozing off Dhara wide awake too.
"Oh, finally! You are awake." She yawned.
"Why do I feel so better now? What did you do to me?"
"I did, of yes yes I gave you some medicines so that you don't die. You have I guess twelve months. If you don't find a cure to the poison that is in your body, no one will be able to save you. "
"Thank you for saving me. I owe you one."
"You are welcome."
"But can you tell me how did you get this poison in your body? Who did you offend that they are trying to make you suffer like this? You know how dangerous the poison inside your body is? Right!"
"I got this thing inside my body years back. I was still young back then. I was twelve years old at that time I guess. I was too proud of myself back then and very arrogant too. I heard my father talking about the prophecy made and also about your brother being related to that and how by evil means they captured your brother. I got really angry. I went to Kaali Ghat and killed their Lord Khyama. I was about to assassinate Daitya his son too
but got discovered. I was able to escape from there but got poisoned with this poison called halaya. It is considered to be the second most dangerous poison in the world after halahal. It has a cure. It's a magical flower called Vaisya. But only my soulmate can pick it up. And I don't know how to find her. I don't even have time for this.""You were the one who killed that Khyama? And you got poisoned because of that! I don't even know how to thank you. I just know that I will save you no matter what happens. I promise you." She said.
"You don't need to do anything for me! I don't even want to live in such a world where such evil people exist. It's better to die than to live in this world without love."
"No, you won't die. I won't let you die."
"Let's leave this to the future. We need to get there by today afternoon. I don't want to waste more time on these."
At Kaali Ghaat
-----------"My lord the messenger you sent to find out if that Kaal is dead or not is back. He is waiting outside for your orders."
"Don't waste time, you fool! Let him in."
"Yes, My lord"
The servant called the spy in on the orders of now the Lord of Kaali Ghaat, Daitya.
"My, my lord" the servant stuttered." That Kaal was supposed to die today with unbearable pain and he was almost dead too. I saw him trying to call someone for help after which he fell unconscious. I thought he was dead but he wasn't. I was hungry so when I saw a deer passing by I started to chase it but when I came back I saw Kaal standing there straight with a woman beside him. The woman saved him. I heard that woman saying that if he didn't find a cure to his poison in twelve months then no one will be able to save him. My lord, it's not my fault. Please spare me. It's that woman's fault. No,no my lord"
And in a split second Daitya removed the spy's head from his body.
"How dare he put his blame on others! He should have run away when he failed his mission. He shouldn't have come back here!"
"Find out, find out who that woman was! I want her to die with that Kaal. I won't spare anyone who tries to save that Kaal. Send someone to find out about that woman. Otherwise, you all will die in my hands. Go right now. Don't show me your face ever again if you can't find who she is! Scram!"
All the servants ran away as if they had seen a monster off course Daitya looked no less than a monster when angry.
