Jimin stared blankly at the math problem on the board, a furrowed brow and a look of sheer confusion on his face. Yoongi paced back and forth, his frustration mounting.

"Jimin, come on. It's simple algebra. What's 2x + 3 = 7?" Yoongi asked, trying to keep his patience.

Jimin scratched his head. "Uh... 4x?"

Yoongi's face went red. "No, you moron! You need to isolate x! Subtract 3 from both sides first!"

Jimin shrugged. "I'm just not good with numbers, okay?"

Yoongi threw his hands up in exasperation. "You're not good with anything if you keep this up. Just try to focus for once!"

During their next session, Jimin was supposed to solve a geometry problem. He squinted at the paper, then at Yoongi, who was waiting expectantly.

"Alright, Jimin, find the area of a triangle with a base of 5 and a height of 10."

Jimin scratched his chin. "So, the area is... um... 50?"

Yoongi's eyes narrowed. "No! It's 0.5 times the base times the height! That's basic geometry!"

Jimin shrugged. "I thought it was just multiplication."

Yoongi slammed his hand on the table. "No, it's not! You need to actually learn the formulas. This is driving me crazy!"

-----

In their final tutoring session, Yoongi was teaching Jimin about quadratic equations. Jimin was nodding, but his answers were still far from correct.

"Jimin, if we have the equation x² + 4x - 5 = 0, what are the roots?" Yoongi asked, hoping for some semblance of understanding.

Jimin squinted at the paper. "Uh... 0 and 5?"

Yoongi's frustration reached its peak. "No, it's -5 and 1! Use the quadratic formula or factor it correctly! How many times do I have to explain this?"

Jimin's face flushed. "Sorry, I'm just not getting it."

Yoongi threw his pen on the table. "You're making no progress. This is hopeless!"

---

Yoongi slammed his locker shut, his exhaustion from tutoring Jimin evident in his demeanor. He turned around and nearly jumped out of his skin when he saw Seungmin standing right next to him.

"What the fuck are you doing here, Seungmin?" Yoongi snapped, trying to keep his voice steady.

Seungmin smirked, his eyes filled with malice. "Oh, just wanted to see how my favorite ex is doing. Still playing the victim, I see."

Yoongi's face turned red with anger. "Don't you dare come near me. What the hell do you want?"

Seungmin's smirk widened. "I'm here to remind you of what you lost. You think you're so high and mighty with your perfect little life? You're nothing."

Yoongi's fists clenched at his sides. "Shut up! You don't get to talk to me like that. You're the one who messed everything up. You think you can just waltz back into my life and act like nothing happened?"

Seungmin stepped closer, his voice rising. "And what? You think you're better than me now? I'm not afraid of you, Yoongi. You're just a pathetic little shit who thinks he's all that."

Yoongi's anger flared. "You're fucking insane! Get the hell away from me!"

Seungmin laughed mockingly. "Oh, look at you. All hot-headed and trying to act tough. But deep down, you're still that scared little boy who couldn't stand up for himself."

"Fuck you!"

Seungmin grabbed him roughly and slammed him against the lockers. Students nearby began to murmur and gather around, sensing the escalating confrontation.

"Don't you ever fucking speak to me like that again! Understand?" Seungmin shouted, his face inches from Yoongi's.

Yoongi struggled to push him away, his voice a mix of rage and desperation. "Get your fucking hands off me! You're such a piece of shit, Seungmin!"

The shouting match continued, with both of them hurling curses and insults at each other. Seungmin was about to raise his hand to punch Yoongi when strong hands grabbed his arm and yanked him away.

Jimin, his face dark with fury, had stormed over from the commotion. Without hesitation, he delivered a powerful punch to Seungmin's face, sending him crashing to the ground.

"Who the fuck are you, huh?" Jimin growled, his eyes burning with intensity.

Seungmin lay on the floor, stunned and holding his face, while Jimin glared down at him. Yoongi, still shaken, looked at Jimin with a mix of relief and concern.

"Enough, Jimin! Let's get out of here before this gets worse," Yoongi said, trying to calm down the situation.

They got out of the university before teachers could even find out the fight. They stopped abruptly as Yoongi eyed the taller who still had dark eyes, fuming with anger. Jimin didn't even understand why he was so mad.

"You could've seriously hurt him, Jimin. That's not nice." Yoongi says

"Who was that?"

"He's a nobody, Jimin. Now let's go back to class."

-------

Jimin's anxiety was building up as he approached his car parked just outside the school. The familiar urge to inflict pain was gnawing at him, a desperate need he couldn't ignore. He dug his nails into his skin, trying to distract himself, but it did little to alleviate the overwhelming impulse.

It was happening again... those fucking voices.

As he was about to get into his car, a sudden punch to the face made him stagger. Jimin looked up to see Seungmin, the same guy he had punched earlier, standing before him.

"That's for embarrassing me in front of everyone, you fucker!" Seungmin snarled, spitting on Jimin's shoes.

Jimin wiped his face, his expression one of detached amusement. "Did you just punch me?"

Seungmin's smirk widened as he took a menacing step closer, their faces inches apart. "What about it, pig?" he taunted.

Jimin raised an eyebrow, his tone cold. "Apologize."

Seungmin's eyes flared with anger. "Fuck you!" he spat back.

Jimin chuckled softly, his gaze icy. "Okay then, see you soon." Without another word, he got into his car and started the engine.
