The next day, as Jimin arrived at the University, he was met with an overwhelming reception. Students from all corners of the campus flocked to him, cheering and clapping for his victory.
"JIMIN! JIMIN! JIMIN!"
"JIMIN OPPA!!!"
"JIMIN-SSI!"
While it was flattering, Jimin felt increasingly uncomfortable with the sudden attention. He'd never been one for the spotlight and just wanted to blend in and live a quiet life. This makes Jimin annoyed. How those students shout his name.
Yoongi, spotting Jimin's discomfort from a distance, made his way through the crowd with a determined look. "Back off, you damn idiots!" Yoongi shouted, his tone a mix of irritation and protectiveness. "Give him some space!"
The crowd hesitated, then began to disperse, leaving Jimin with a little more breathing room. Yoongi reached Jimin's side, his expression softening as he saw Jimin's relieved smile.
Jimin leaned in and placed a gentle kiss on Yoongi's forehead. "Thanks, baby," he murmured, his voice filled with gratitude. "You're the best."
Yoongi grinned, wrapping an arm around Jimin. "Let's get out of here before they start up again."

Yoongi was in the living room, brushing his hair and indulging in a bit of self-care. The soft strokes of the brush and the quiet of the room made for a peaceful afternoon.
Just then, Taehyung walked in, his usual bright demeanor replaced by a noticeable sadness. He looked at Yoongi with a pouty expression that instantly tugged at Yoongi's heartstrings.
"Yoon," Taehyung called softly, his voice carrying a hint of regret.
Yoongi looked up from his grooming, and the sight of Taehyung's sad face made him immediately soften. Despite the tension from last time, he couldn't stay mad at his friend for long, especially not when he looked so dejected.
"Aww, come here," Yoongi said with a warm smile, setting the brush aside.
Taehyung approached, and Yoongi pulled him into a heartfelt hug. "I'm really sorry for being all over Jimin," Taehyung said, his voice muffled against Yoongi's shoulder. "I didn't mean to make things awkward. I was just..."
"It's okay," Yoongi interrupted gently. "I get it. You were just being yourself. I guess I overreacted a bit. Let's just put it behind us."
Taehyung nodded, pulling back slightly to look at Yoongi. "Thanks for understanding. I really appreciate it."
Yoongi grinned, giving Taehyung a playful nudge. "You better. Now let's grab something to eat. I'm starving and I'm sure you are too."
Taehyung's face brightened with a smile. "Sounds good. I could use some food after all this drama."
----
Jimin strolled out of the grocery store, bags in hand, ready to head home and prepare for his date with Yoongi the next day. Just as he stepped onto the sidewalk, Jisoo came rushing up to him, her arms wrapping around him in a tight hug.
"Jimin!" she exclaimed, her voice cheerful. "I didn't expect to run into you here!"
Jimin, caught off guard, didn't return the hug. He simply stood there, holding the bags and allowing Jisoo to embrace him.
Jisoo pulled back slightly, her hands resting on Jimin's arms as she looked up at him with a flirtatious smile. "Congratulations again on your win. I have to admit, you looked amazing out there."
Jimin gave a curt nod, his expression neutral. "Thanks. It was a tough competition."
Jisoo's fingers lingered on Jimin's arm as she leaned in closer. "You know, I've been thinking about how well we did together."
