"Jimin?!" Yoongi exclaimed, his eyes widening in shock.

"Yoongi?" Jimin replied, equally surprised. Why would Jimin be in his neighborhood? This was a big coincidence! So the sweet woman that his mom was talking about was Jimin's mom?

"Mimi? Who is that?" Yoongi heard Jimin's mom call from inside the house.

"O-Oh! Hello, young man!" Jimin's mom said, appearing at the doorway with a warm smile. "Come in! You must be Mrs. Min's son? Wah, you two look alike!"

"Uh, yeah," Yoongi stammered, stepping inside as Jimin's mom ushered him in. He felt a bit out of place, standing in Jimin's grand house with the pot of stew in his hands.

Jimin remained his usual cold self, but he reached out to help Yoongi carry the stew to the kitchen. "I'll take that," he said curtly, grabbing the pot and walking away without another word.

Yoongi followed him, feeling a bit awkward. Jimin's mom was all smiles and chatter as she led the way. "So nice of you to bring this over! Mrs. Min is such a lovely woman. You two must be very close."

"Yeah, she's great," Yoongi replied, glancing at Jimin, who was setting the pot down on the counter with a scowl on his face.

Jimin's mom turned to Yoongi, her eyes twinkling with mischief. "You know, Yoongi, you and Jimin would make such a cute couple. Don't you think, Mimi?"

Jimin rolled his eyes and sighed heavily. "Mom, please," he muttered, his tone laced with annoyance.

Yoongi felt his cheeks heat up, his heart pounding in his chest. "Uh, we're just classmates," he mumbled, avoiding Jimin's gaze.

Jimin's mom just laughed. "Oh, I see. But you never know, right? Sometimes love starts with friendship."

"Mom," Jimin said more sternly, shooting her a warning look. "Stop it."

"Alright, alright," she said, raising her hands in mock surrender. "I'll stop teasing. But you boys should spend more time together. It's good to make friends."

Yoongi shifted uncomfortably, feeling the tension in the air. "Um, I should probably get going. Thanks for having me."

Jimin's mom smiled warmly. "Of course, Yoongi. Thank you for bringing the stew. And don't be a stranger, okay?"

Yoongi nodded, giving a small, polite smile before turning to leave. Jimin followed him to the door, his expression still cold.

"Sorry about my mom," Jimin muttered once they were outside.

"It's fine," Yoongi said quickly, trying to brush off his embarrassment. "She seems nice."

Jimin shrugged. "She means well, I guess."

Yoongi looked at Jimin, searching for something to say. "Well, I'll see you at school, I guess."

"Yeah," Jimin replied, his tone indifferent. "See you."

As Yoongi turned to leave, he noticed a small smile playing on Jimin's lips, a rare sight that made him pause. "How about we get out of here?" Jimin suggested, his tone suddenly lighter.

Yoongi blinked, taken aback. "What do you mean?"

Jimin glanced around, making sure his mom wasn't within earshot. "Let's go over the bridge by the beach," he said shortly, grabbing Yoongi's hand without waiting for a response.

Yoongi protested, trying to pull his hand away. "Jimin, wait! I really should get back home. My mom's expecting me."

Jimin tightened his grip, a hint of amusement in his eyes. "Stop being such a good boy for once, Yoongi. Let's go." His voice was scoldy, leaving little room for argument.

"But-" Yoongi began, only to be cut off by Jimin's determined tug.

"No buts," Jimin said firmly. "You need to relax. Come on."

Realizing he wasn't going to win this argument, Yoongi sighed and relented. "Fine, but just for a little while."

Jimin's smile widened as he led Yoongi down the street, his usual cold demeanor softened by the brief moment of warmth. "You'll thank me later," he said, his tone teasing.

"Yeah, yeah," Yoongi muttered, unable to hide the small smile that crept onto his face as he followed Jimin.

"Wow, the sight is beautiful even though it's dark now," Yoongi said, looking out over the moonlit beach. "How did you even know about this spot? You're new here."

Jimin shrugged, a small smile playing on his lips. "Let's just say I love being alone," he replied with a light chuckle.

They sat at the end of the bridge, the soft glow of the moon casting a serene light over the water. The gentle waves lapped against the shore, creating a soothing background noise. Yoongi couldn't help but feel a sense of calm wash over him.

"It's really peaceful here," Yoongi said, breaking the silence. "I come to places like this when I need to clear my head. It's nice to escape the chaos of everyday life, you know?"

Jimin nodded, his gaze fixed on Yoongi. "Yeah, I get that."

"Do you have a place like this back in Busan?" Yoongi asked, trying to keep the conversation going.

"A few," Jimin said shortly.

"Must have been hard to leave them behind," Yoongi continued, glancing at Jimin. "Moving to a new place, meeting new people... it can be overwhelming."

Jimin just nodded again, his attention still on Yoongi. The way the moonlight highlighted Yoongi's features made it hard for Jimin to focus on anything else.

Yoongi shifted slightly, looking back out at the water. "I've always loved the beach at night. There's something magical about it. The way the moon reflects on the water, the sound of the waves... it's like the world is at peace."

Jimin's eyes never left Yoongi's face. He was captivated by the way Yoongi spoke, his soft voice carrying a sense of wonder and tranquility. It was a side of Yoongi he hadn't seen before, and it drew him in even more.

"Do you ever feel like the ocean can wash away your worries?" Yoongi asked, turning back to Jimin. "Like, just sitting here, listening to the waves... it makes everything else seem so small."

Jimin finally tore his gaze away from Yoongi and looked out at the ocean. "Yeah, sometimes," he said quietly.

There was a comfortable silence between them for a moment, the only sound of the gentle crashing of the waves. Yoongi took a deep breath, feeling a sense of contentment settling over him.

"You know, I didn't expect to find a place like this here," Yoongi admitted. "But I'm glad you brought me. It's nice to share it with someone."

Jimin's eyes flickered back to Yoongi, and before he could stop himself, he blurted out, "Y-You're so beautiful."

Jimin just stuttered. Jimin just fucking stuttered.

Yoongi's eyes widened in surprise, and he turned to look at Jimin. "What?"

Jimin's face flushed with embarrassment, but he couldn't take back the words. "I mean... the way the moonlight hits your face. It's... you're beautiful."
