"Damn, Jimin. You're really getting serious about that Yoongi?" Taemin asked as he chugged his apple juice, a hint of mockery in his voice.
Jimin looked at him and smirked. "Yeah," he replied nonchalantly, his tone cold and dismissive.
Taemin chuckled, leaning in closer. "How about the Taehyung one? He for sure likes you, hahaha! He always looks at you like a piece of meat. Look at him!" Taemin whispered, pointing at the blonde-haired boy sitting nearby in the cafeteria.
Jimin's eyes followed Taemin's gesture, landing on Taehyung, who immediately looked away, pretending to be engrossed in something else.
Taemin laughed again, clearly enjoying the gossip. "You should let him down easy, man. Or don't. Keep him on his toes."
Jimin shrugged, taking a sip of his drink. "He'll figure it out eventually," he said, his voice devoid of any real concern. He glanced back at Taehyung, who was now nervously fidgeting with his food, and then turned his attention back to Taemin. "Anyway, why do you care?"
Taemin grinned, leaning back in his chair. "Just curious, that's all. It's entertaining to watch, you know?"
Jimin rolled his eyes. "Get a hobby, Taemin," he said, his tone flat. "Maybe you won't be so bored if you focus on your own life."
Taemin raised his hands in mock surrender. "Alright, alright. No need to be so cold, Jimin. Just trying to make conversation."
Jimin didn't respond, instead turning his attention to his phone. He was done with the conversation, and Taemin knew better than to push any further.
