Isaac sat impatiently on the Cullen's couch as the rest of the Cullen's finally decided to allow Edward to bring Bella around.
Edward's positive reaction made most of his siblings feel better about allowing the human into their home, but still, they had their own reservations about how this official meeting would go.
They'd just have to wait and see when the time came.
Two days later (the big day)
Bella was very nervous. I mean, who wouldn't be?
She was going to meet the family of the boy that she really liked.
She needed to make a good impression, especially on his siblings.
She'd only ever seen them from afar, so she hoped that her first official meeting with them would go okay.
She knew the family were vampires, but that wasn't what scared her.
Their opinions of her mattered, more than Edward would think they did.
He thought that she was worried about them being vampires, but she wasn't. Which was weird.
She never thought the supernatural would be real.
Before Forks, she never had an inkling that vampires could be walking amongst the average person.
But, that didn't matter to her.
She felt this strange pull to Edward.
She always has. Ever since she first laid eyes on him in the cafeteria on her first day of school, there was an unspoken attraction.
Finally being able to be with him, well it was amazing.
Now she had to meet the family, and she would be golden.
The drive to Edward's house was nerve wracking for Bella.
But when they finally arrived, Bella was in shock as she stared up at the home that was more like a mansion in awe.
She never expected the home to be this open.
Especially when Edward had shown her that vampires lit up like diamonds in the sunlight.
Edward looked at her awed face and smirked.
"What, not what you were expecting?" He asked sarcastically.
The two continued their conversation about the house and what Bella was expecting, as they walked up to the door.
They entered the house, Edward took the chance to take both of their coats off as they walked down the small three steps and down the hallway.
The sound of a cooking show filled the room, an Italian song played on the record player, and the sounds of cooking and murmuring filled Bella's ears as she walked into the living room that lead to an open kitchen concept.
She walked with Edward, taking in everything she saw.
Chopping vegetables up was Emmett, Rosalie was holding a salad bowl filled with a garden salad.
Charlotte was toasting some garlic bread, and Esme was pulling a lasagna out of the oven.
Carlisle was roasting some garlic and cherry tomatoes, Italian dishes were spread out on the counters for all to see.
Most of them continuing the them of Italian foods.
Pastas of all types, a homemade pizza by the looks of it, and even three different types of gelato.
Bella instantly felt bad.
Here they were making her this seven course feast, and she had already eaten, figuring that they were vampires who only consumed blood, and they probably wouldn't have anything for a human to eat at their house.
