As soon as Edward couldn't hear the three Nomad's thoughts anymore, he scrambled to get Bella away from the field.

Knowing exactly what was about to happen.

And he felt extremely guilty about it.

He rushed to get her away from Forks, but she had convinced him to go to her father's house so that she could talk to him.

Because her just up and disappearing after a date with Edward could cause some issues for the family that they didn't really need right about now.

...

Isaac and Teddy stretched as they went from wolf to human in a matter of seconds, much to the fascination of Carlisle.

He had been one of the most curious whenever Isaac talked about the Wizarding World.

A world separate from even the vampires and the wolves that he knew of.

But one that he was steadily learning about with the help of Isaac, and some hand written letters (using parchment and ink) from Isaac's aunt Andi (who was really his second cousin, but she raised him so she was like a mix between a mother and an aunt for him) about the differences between the human world and the Wizarding world.

It was also delivered by an owl of all things.

Carlisle was most fascinated by how the owls just knew where to drop the letters.

Were all owls this smart, or just magically bred owls?

Isaac gently picked up a giggling baby boy off of his tummy, which relieved some of the tension off of the rest of the coven just by hearing that sound.

"We'll meet you guys back at the house." Rosalie said as she moved towards Isaac who gave them a small measuring smile and then disapparated them away and back towards the Cullen Coven's home.

Once there, Rosalie let him into the house and led him up to her room where a crib was.

Rosalie took Teddy from Isaac and then changed him into a onesie with a family of wolves on it that moved around in a field, then she started to gently hum a lullaby that he the little boy asleep within five minutes.

"What are we going to do? I've seen that look on Death Eater's faces before. Specifically Snatchers. That look when a predator locks in on a prey and will stop at nothing to get what they want." Isaac said softly as he brought Rosalie closer to him by her hips.

She automatically placed her arms around his neck, giving him a comforting smile.

The look on James' face had brought back bad memories for Isaac.

Rosalie could see the way her mate's eyes looked slightly unfocused even as he continued to talk to her coherently.

She'd seen this look many times on Jasper when he was remembering his first century of Vampirism. Back when he was still under the control of Maria.

Rosalie held onto her mate and put a bit more pressure on the side of his neck, right where his pulse was.

She'd done this for Jasper a few times when he was more vulnerable, it usually had him slowly come back to reality.

And she was glad to see Isaac's eyes becoming more clear by the second.

It took a couple of minutes, but soon Isaac's eyes were fully clear, and that beautiful mix of blue and grey that she'd fallen in love with returned to his eyes.

"Well, right now, I'm going to go downstairs and see what my family wants to do. I need you to stay here, this situation seems far too much like a situation that could bring back PTSD attacks for you, even thinking about James' eyes made you retreat in on yourself. So for now, I don't want you anywhere near this situation. Please don't argue with me on this. I'm trying to do what's best for you and our son." Rosalie said.
