A few months had passed, it was the 16th of October, Charles's birthday. Despite it being on a race week-end, that morning, Charles woke up extremely excited as he had passed his driver license before and could finally drive alone now that he was of legal age. So the first thing he did when he and Julie were ready, he took them for a ride in his parents's car. The ride was filled with laughter, screaming along the music which was playing, and silences. They enjoyed every minute of it, loving spending time with each other more than anything. That day, Julie gifted Charles a silver ring with their initials engraved in it. Charles loved it and put it immediately on his finger, giving Julie a big hug and a kiss on her temple in thanks. That week-end, the Leclercs and Julie celebrated both Charles's birthday and also the end of his season, which he ended in the fourth place in the Championship out of about forty.
Since his birthday, Charles didn't take off his ring except for races as he wasn't allowed to keep any jewelry on. Also, they started to go on long rides together, driving around Monaco or wherever they were. Charles loved driving, and Julie loved being his passenger princess and, well, they simply loved spending time together. They were each other's person. No one could deny that, even a blind person could see it. Their smile were the biggest, their laughs the loudest and simply the happiest when they were together.
They went together almost everywhere. If you saw Charles or Julie outdoors, you could be sure the other was with them.
The following year, 2016, was great for the both of them. They continued to grow closer when everyone thought it wasn't possible. They were much more close than simple best friends. that hadn't done any romantic gesture yet, they were flirting with the line between. Everyone could see the looks of adoration they gave each other or the lingering touches. They were just waiting for the moment they would finally get together.
Charles's season, the GP3 Championship series, started in Spain, in Barcelona, where Charles won the first race of the week-end. Julie, was at his side of course and they celebrated with Charles's teammates Alex Albon and Nyck de Vries.
Julie had talked with Pascale and Hervé about her future, she sought advice from the two whom she saw as parents figures. She had also spent time thinking about getting an actual job, in a company for instance. But the idea didn't seem appealing at all to her. She needed something more... unconventional. She had spent too much time being told what to do and how to act to fit. But she didn't want to follow codes, she wanted to make her own ones and not change a single thing about herself. She had struggled during her teenage years with how people saw her as her mother always had something to say about her looks ; but luckily, Jules, Charles and his family were here to remind her of how perfect she was and that she didn't have to care about people's opinion. What mattered was that she knew herself and so did the person she held close to her heart.
Ultimately, she had come to a conclusion. She loved artsy things. She loved to travel. She loved sharing her holidays by showing pictures. And more importantly, she wanted to make a brother proud, and that would only be possible if she was happy with what she was doing. So, she decided to document her travels on a new Instagram account she created for it, keeping her original one as her personal one, on private. She named it julie.b and Charles made sure to be her first ever follower. He asked his friends and family to also follow her account, to give her as much support as he could.
Race after race, Julie posted and posted which made her number of followers increase. As much as she loved her brother, she didn't want to be known as 'late Jules Bianchi's sister', she wanted to be known because of her work and its quality. she poured her heart into her posts which also attracted brands. They wanted to work with her, send her products so she could post a review of them, etc. At first, she didn't know what to do because she didn't expect for brands to reach for her, but after talking about it with Charles, she decided that she could help small brands to be put under the spotlight and be more known. So she started to accept invitations, with the only request that it wouldn't disturb her racing schedule so she could be there for Charles at every races.
And that's how Julie went on to become an influencer while travelling around the world with her best friend. Well, maybe soon to be boyfriend ?
