2024 had been their year, Esmée was born, Charles won in Monaco and Monza, the two most important races for him, Charles won his first world championship, Charles and Julie got engaged and were organizing their wedding which will take place during the following summer in 2025, in Monaco.

The wedding was superb, everyone they cared about was there. During the ceremony, two seats were left empty, one for Hervé and the other for Jules. Sebastian walked Julie down the aisle and he cried when she had asked him but also when he gave her away to Charles. Their vows brought more than one to tears as they were overwhelmingly cute. Even Esmée was quietly, something she wasn't often, watching her parents from Pierre's arms.

Charles and Julie left the following day for their honeymoon, leaving Esmée in their friends and family's care. A few months later, baby Jules Hervé Leclerc arrived in the world before being joined by little Sophie Marie Leclerc and little Noah Victor Leclerc in 2027.

Charles went on to win a few more championships, Max had retired from F1 to go to another type of moto racing, Lewis retired too despite not getting his eight championship. But Charles, he, managed to win five championships with Ferrari, battling with Carlos and Lando who both managed to win one from Charles.

Then, in 2033, Charles retired after getting 2 more championships under his belt, equalling Schumacher's and Lewis's record of 7 championships, but it was the record of the most championships for a driver with Ferrari only. He went back to Monaco permanently, with his lover and their children. Some other drivers retired, leaving the place for rookies, and went to live in Monaco too, where their family built from the heart was. A lot of them also had children which made them all make bets and play matchmaker, trying to intervene in their children's love-life. That sometimes worked, sometimes not.

Lando managed to make Sophie Leclerc go on a date with his son, Archie, which soon became a relationship. Kika, Pierre's now wife, successfully pushed her daughter Lucinda in a relationship with Carlos's son Mateo while he got reprimanded by his other son Rafael who only saw Esmée as a sister and not a all as a romantic partner.

Certainly Charles and Julie sometimes found life as parents difficult, wanting to educate them properly about life but above all about relationships by giving them the healthiest and most important example they could, namely themselves. Charles's aim when Esmée was born was to almost exasperate his children by kissing their mother as much as he could and by showing her affection in any way he could.

But there was a moment where he knew they had made it. That was when Esmée, who was passionate about singing, had a recital. What they didn't know at the time was that Esmée was going to perform all alone and was going to sing a song she had actually written on her own. Everyone was there, her parents, her siblings, her grandma, her uncles, her godfather and their own families. She knew she could do no wrong with so much person cheering for her.

She took a deep breath and sat down on the stool on stage with her guitar in hand. She adjusted the mic so that it was right at her mouth level. She looked at her family who gave her thumbs up and smiled in response.

« Bonjour, je m'appelle Esmée Leclerc et je vais vous chanter une chanson que j'ai écrite moi même. »
"Hi, my name is Esmée Leclerc and I will be singing a song I wrote myself."

She started playing a few chords and finally began to sing.

"I wanna come home to roses
And dirty little notes on Post-its
And when my hair starts turning gray
He'll say I'm like a fine wine, better with age.
I guess I learned it from my parents
That true love starts with friendship
A kiss on the forehead, a date night
Fake an apology after a fight.
I need a man who's patient and kind
Get out of the car and holds the door
I wanna slow dance in the living room like
We're 18 at senior prom and grow
Old with someone who makes me feel young.
I need a man who loves me like
My father loves my mom.
I want a road trip in the summers
I wanna make fun of each other
I wanna dance away to Taylor Swift
And flip our kids off when they call us old.
He'll accidentally burn our dinner
And let me be the scrabble winner
And when my body changes shapes
He'll say, 'Oh my God, you look hot today'.
I need a man who's patient and kind
Get out of the car and holds the door
I wanna slow dance in the living room like
We're 18 at senior prom and grow
Old with someone who makes me feel young.
I need a man who loves me like
My father loves my mom.
And if he lives up to my father
Maybe he could teach our daughter
What it takes to love a queen
She should know she's royalty.
I need a man who's patient and kind
Gets out of the car and holds the door
I wanna slow dance in the living room like
We're 18 at senior prom and grow
Old with someone who makes me feel young.
I need a man who loves me like
My father loves my mom.
I need a man who loves me like
My father loves my mom."

When the last chords were heard, everyone started clapping, mesmerized by her talent. Julie was crying and Charles had tears in his eyes. He put his arm around her shoulders, comforting her and kissed her temple.

« Je crois qu'on a réussi. Je t'aime mon amour, toujours. »
"I think we did it. I love you mon amour always."
