"I'll get these back to the gym," Lonnie said as everyone exited the limo.

"Thanks," Jay replied.

"I'm gonna go with her," Conie told his friend. "You four have a lot to go over."

Jay nodded and sighed softly, "See ya at practice then?"

"See ya then," Conie smiled.

He then hurried after Lonnie.

She flashed him a smile once he caught up to her.

"Chaotic day, huh," She asked.

He chuckled a little in response.

--

"Let's bring it in, boys," Jay called once practice was over. "Let's bring it in."

The boys hurried over to Jay, practice running short because of cotillion.

"All right. You all know I come from the Isle, right, where things are pretty whack," Jay started. "No, but there is one thing the Isle's got on Auradon. If you're strong, we want you by our side-- girl or boy."

Conie smirked to himself, hoping this was going in the direction he thought it was.

"Hey, Jay, hold on here," Chad interrupted. "We don't-- We don't break the rules here in Auradon. That's over on the Isle."

Jay whipped out the rulebook and continued, ""The team shall be comprised of a captain and eight men." So, uh... give it up for your new team captain."

Lonnie grinned as she entered the gym, taking a spot next to Jay.

He put the captain's medal around her neck.

"Thank you," she said.

He nodded and then bowed at her.

The rest of the team following suit and bowing at their new captain.

"Fine," Chad hissed, bowing reluctantly.

"Give me 10," Lonnie ordered them.

Conie and Jay exchanged looks before dropping to the floor.

The boys began counting as they followed their captain's orders.

"1, 2, 3, 4, 5..."

"Pick it up, Chad," Lonnie barked, pushing him down with her foot.

Conie snickered to himself.

"Nice form, Jay," She then complimented.

"...6, 7, 8, 9, 10."

The team got up from the floor once they completed their push ups.

"Okay, practice is over," Lonnie smiled. "Get out of here. Go get ready for Cotillion."

Jay threw an arm around Conie's shoulder as they went to exit the gym.

"Hey, Jay," Lonnie asked.

"Yeah," Jay replied, turning around to face her and, in the process, letting go of Conie.

"Wait until I tell my mom," She said, smiling.

Both Conie and Jay smiled back.

"Let's get out of here," Jay spoke, throwing his arm back around Conie's shoulders.

Lonnie hurried and walked out with the two boys.

--

Conie slipped on a long sleeve compression shirt and sweats after his shower. It was getting closer to cotillion but wasn't quite time yet to put on his suit.
