Lada was tired from all dancing and laughing with Earn. She was drained yet the latter seemed nowhere near collapsed. She then danced with Lada's father whilst the doctor sat at one of the tables at the corner with Bow. Emi was going to the toilet so there were only them left.

"I can't believe today is actually happen. One of us is having a family right now."

"You bet," Lada drank her water as she swept her sweat. "It feels like it's just yesterday when we finished med school, you know. Now suddenly she's a wife, soon to be pregnant lady then she becomes a new then grandma then dead," Lada frowned.

Bow looked at Lada with a weird look.

"We're old, Bow," she said as a matter of fact.

"We're not old, we're getting old. Still in the process not there yet,"

They fell in silence.

"I want it too," Bow cracked the stillness.

"What Jamie has, I want it too."

"Do you think Engfah wants it too?"

" I don't know. Let's see what the future holds." Lada gave Bow a meaningful look.

"Don't tell me you got a ring?" Bow gasped.

She looked up from her phone to the sound of the high heels steps that came towards her. She grinned and stood up from her chair as she hugged the older version of her.

"Where's Earn?" The woman asked.
Lada narrowed her eyes, face palmed.

"Hello to you too, my dearest mother," she said sarcastically.

"Hello my sweet cheeks," her father kissed her left temple.

"Hi honey. Now where's Earn?" Her mother also pecked her right temple.

"She's at the court, why are you asking her?" They sat down.

"She's my other daughter who actually talks to me many times a week unlike my other daughter who doesn't call when Earn doesn't call me," she spoke sassily.

"Now why do we own this pleasure oh my so busy dear daughter?" She folded her arms, looking at her scarily.

"I'm sorry mom, I really am busy these past months, okay? I'll make it up to you later. I'll call you more often, come visit every week if you want me to. Please don't be mad?" Lada pouted.

"That puppy dog's eyes are not going to work on me anymore,"she pointed her index finger to her daughter. "I don't ask you much, just call us every now and then. Let us know that you're okay. What you did is really disappointing, young lady"

"I know mom, I'm sorry." she bowed her head in fear.

"Ladies, we're in public now. Minimize the arguments, shall we?" The man whispered.

"We're not finished," the mother glared.
Lada could only set her eyes on the ground.

They ordered the meal and waited for it.

"So.. how's everything honey?"

"Not good, mom is mad at me," she sulked.

Her father sighed. "Your mom is already forgiven you, right love?"

"If you promise to call more often then I forgive you."

"I will! I swear I will," she put her hand on her chest and nodded solemnly.
