Earn looked up from the video she'd been watching for over an hour on her laptop to the sound of door opening. She pushed up her butt up from the floor to welcome the woman of her heart.

Lada was drained. Earn  could see that from her weary face.

"Hello beautiful," Earn greeted her with a smile.

"Hey, I'm sorry I'm late," she gave her a quick kiss on the lips then moved inside the house putting her bag on the couch.

"8:17, seventeen minutes late is nothing. Have you had dinner?"

"I haven't even had lunch. My mind is all over the place today. I just," she took a deep breath. "I'm hungry. I didn't buy anything cause I'm tired, but I'm hungry to death."

"How's sushi sound?"

"I've been thinking about sushi all day, but I don't have the energy to order and take out is taking too much time I probably going to pass out before it arrives."

"Do you want to eat now?"

"I'll take a quick shower first."

"Okay, your highness. Go shower, your food will be ready in short."

They ate in silence.

"Why are you so quiet?"

"Just tired, dear."

"You should sleep early tonight."

"Okay."

"How's the lecturing going?"

"Awesome," the question got her to smile. "It's refreshing. They're excited to learn, it's just too bad I have one more surgery this afternoon. I want to spend more time with them."

"You have residents to teach," Earn said as she poured her glass with some cold water.

"It's different."

"How so?"

"I can't be mad at them, meanwhile my residents always get on my nerves."

"Anger is not good for your health," she kissed the top of Lada's head. "Reduced the frequency, please. I need you to stay healthy."

"They're stupid," she muttered.

"You can't compare their knowledge and experience with you. Of course you are smarter and skilled at what you do. They are still learning. You're like them too when you were a resident."

"I'm not stupid," she frowned.

"Who says you are?" Earn chuckled. She understood and well aware of Lada's brilliance brain, it made her ego soar so high and her arrogance was so irritating.

"You're the smartest person I've ever met but you seriously have to control your exploding wrath a bit because not everyone can handle it."

"Including you?" She asked lowly.

"Excluding me, otherwise I wouldn't be here, would I?" Earn  had to smile at the cute pout. "I think I'm immune to you," she said jokingly. "You're annoying, but it's not enough to make me fed up with you. You're a lot more than that. There are so much things in you that I adore."

"Really?" Lada grinned sheepishly.

"Really. Now come on let's do the dishes. I want to sleep early too."

"What is it, P'Mor?"

Lada glanced at her side finding Earn still with her eyes closed. She didn't answer her, thought that she might be sleep talking.
