ch-19 A big secret

Aafiya's pov

Aaban- it's ok , I just asked because I was free. It's totally fine, you both enjoy.

He said leaving but I don't know why I felt bad for rejecting him. But then again, No matter what, I can't forget the thing he did back then.

Author's pov

Little aafiya was playing in the garden of their house when her eyes fell on her brothers sitting in the living room and happily eating icecream while chatting with eachother.

She didn't hesitate for a second as she quickly ran inside to her brothers. They stopped talking as their faces turned stern gazing at her. This time zayan was not present which was a bad sign. She went to aaban and cheerfully said.

Aafiya- bhaiyya I also want icecream. She said glancing at the bowl in his hand which has her fav chocolate icecream. Aaban sighed deeply and said sternly.

Aaban- no aafiya, you are not getting one. And anyway you are too small to eat this much icecream, it's not healthy for you. So go in your room.

Aafiya- but bhaiyya-

Aadil- aafiya! How many times have we said you to not call that. Makes us soo irritated. He said roughly making aafiya's eyes numb.

Aafiya- sorry. She muttered slowly and went to her room.

Aaban sighed and gazed at Hamza and he didn't fail to notice a small smile on his face. Shayan ignored everything and focused on his icecream while Saad was frozen.

He felt a little bad for aafiya and his heart didn't felt peace after seeing her eyes brimming with tears. He stood up and walked to her room. He entered her room and saw her sitting by her window while staring at the sky.

He cleared his throat to get her attention which he eventually got. She looked at him and made an confused face in which she was looking too cute. And He lowly chuckled at this.

Aafiya- bhaiy- she stopped realising what she was going to say and remembering aadil's words. Umm kya hua? (Umm What happened?)

Saad didn't felt right witnessing her hesitating like that. And the way she still was talking to him politely even after the bitter scene happened just few minutes ago.

Saad- I brought you icecream bear. He said Sitting on her bed.

Aafiya- icecream? But aaban bhaiyya- she stopped again realising her words. She face palmed her face cutely making Saad smile at her cuteness.

Saad- don't worry, you can say it when they are not around.

Aafiya- please don't say anyone. Or aadil bhaiyya will again shout at me and I'll cry and Shayan Bhaiyya will glare at me like this. She made an angry face imitating Shayan. Aaban bhaiyya will scold me for good ten minutes which will again make me cry and Hamza Bhai will add salt on their anger.

Saad laughed lightly on her words but then something in him felt sad hearing her talking so casually about her crying whenever they show their carelessness towards her. And that she already knew her Hamza Bhai's doing's.

Saad- accha accha ab bas. And eat this icecream now. (Ok ok now enough) She sat next to him and happily ate the ice-cream. Saad watched her admiringly while talking a little.

Aafiya's pov

Shayan- I'll leave now, it's late. He said breaking my thoughts and I nodded my head. Shab-a-khair (good night) he said and left.
