"Hey bestfrienddddd!" Rihanna shouted as she got out of her car, coming over to hug me. She looked amazing.

"Hi bestie, you showing out tonight"

"I have to show these bitches they still not fucking with me, especially Tanya's ass. She used to hate so bad," she said, and I shook my head. Why was she still holding on to stuff that happened years ago?

"Girl at some point you have to let it go, we're 28 now"

"I don't give a damn if we were 45, I'm still going to show these bitches not to be messed with," she said, and I waved her off. "Oh my goodness, TT baby!" she exclaimed.

"Hi, TT, and I can see your nipples," Blue said, pointing to her mesh dress.

She tried to cover up, and I laughed. She knew we could see those sexy pierced nipples before she even stepped out of the house.

"Blue, let me live," Rih said as we got in the car.

I reached over into her cup holder, grabbed her gum pack, and popped a piece into my mouth before buckling up.

"Give me one, mom"

I reached over again, grabbed another piece of gum, and handed it to Blue. Rihanna shot us both a look, like we were crazy for not asking first. I just shrugged and chuckled, popping my own piece of gum in my mouth.

She knows the deal-what's mine is hers. We've been like that for years, so it's no surprise. It's just how we roll, we share everything .

"Y'all don't ask, I see?" Rihanna said, raising an eyebrow.

"We don't have to, TT, because you love us," Blue replied with a grin, and I nodded in agreement.

I glanced back to make sure she was buckled up, and she was, with her AirPods already in. Satisfied, I turned back around, pulling out my phone just as Rihanna pulled out of the driveway.

"How's mom?"

"She's doing better. Her doctor told me she's making progress, and the tumor is constantly shrinking. But chemo makes her really sick," I said, and she nodded.

"She's so strong, always with a smile on her face," she replied, and I smiled, deeply admiring my mother's strength. "I'm proud of you, too," she added, and it warmed my heart.

"Me? for what?" I asked.

"Taking care of her, paying her medical bills, being a mother, and working-I see you, best friend, and I respect you. You're a hardworking woman," she said.

I felt the emotions welling up, but I didn't want to cry, so I playfully pushed her instead.

"Thank you that means so much to me" I told her.
