Tadashi is my older brother. He was kind of a famous player back when he was in high school, though he kept denying that when I told him so. He played for Karasuno high school as a pinch server with his best friend Kei Tsukishima, otherwise known as Tsukki, as Tadashi calls him. Once he'd got back from practice one night, he'd come up to me and yap to me about what happened at practice-
"Welcome back, Tadashi!" I ran towards him excitedly, watching as he entered the house.
"Hey, Yokota! I want to talk about my day! So Tsukki was so good at blocking as usual, and Hinata, you know Hinata?" Tadashi said, placing his bag down and untying his shoelaces by the door.
"The orange haired child?" I said, I hadn't known that Hinata was not a child back then since Tadashi never talked about him a lot until a few months later.
"Child?? No, but I mean...Okay, okay, today it looked like Hinata was a bird!" He mimicked his hands into little human figures, showing me what Hinata was like during this particular practice session. "He was jumping around from place to place around the court like crazy and-"
"Like a crow?" I'd call out, pointing at a crow out the entrance window.
He paused, thinking about something for a sec. "Hinata as a crow? - Exactly! He can definitely fly!"
"You can too, can you, right? When you serve!" I spoke.
"Eh? I mean sure, but probably, not probably, obviously not as good or as bird-like as Hinata..."
"You can though! And that's so cool too!"
"Awhh, thanks Yokota!" He grabbed his back and stood up. "I'll head upstairs now; you go help Ma set up the dining table, okay?"
"Okay!"
Tadashi had gone upstairs to his room whilst I'd run up to Ma and help set the table. As I was just about to finish setting the table, Ma said-
"Go call your brother for dinner now dear."
"Okay mama!" I answered, placing the last chopstick in Tadashi's spot.
I was running towards the stairs, holding my arms up like a bird and made some crow sounds, acting like I was a crow: "Caw caw! Caw caw!" I looked out the same window where the crow was and found it still lying on the porch steps.
