Montys pov

Princess was utterly exhausted, slumped in her chair as we waited for Sandra. I stayed close by on the floor, leaning against the wall, watching over her.

My poor Princess.

She was barely able to keep her eyes open, dozing in and out despite my attempts to keep her occupied. I could tell she was running on fumes, her head nodding slightly as she fought to stay awake.

It wasn’t long before Sandra finally entered the office, her footsteps snapping me out of my thoughts. “Good morning, Y/N and—Monty?” Her eyes widened in surprise as she took in the sight of Princess and me, sprawled out like we’d had a rough night—which it was. In a good way.

“Good morning,” Princess replied, her voice heavy with exhaustion. She barely managed a smile, her weariness evident in every word. I could see Sandra’s curiosity in the way her eyes darted between us, but I didn’t care.

Honestly my only concern was Princess and getting her some rest.

Sandra, always the all-knowing one, didn’t miss a beat and found this the perfect opportunity to tease Princess.

With a smirk tugging at her lips, she quipped, “It smells like sex in here.”

Even I couldn’t help but feel a bit shy about Sandra catching on to what had happened. I’m not one to get embarrassed easily, but her comment struck a nerve, making me glance away for a second.

I saw Princess’s face flush bright red as she stammered, “What—we didn’t—” struggling to find the right words, clearly flustered.

Sandra just shushed her with a knowing grin. “Please, you both look like you just had a night to remember. You’re practically glowing,” she teased. “You two troublemakers better get going before the whole Pizzaplex gets wind of your... activities. I’ll see you both later.” With a playful little wave, she ushered us out of the office.

I could see Princess was a bit unsteady on her feet, so I slipped an arm around her waist, helping her to my room. She was stumbly, still worn out from the night.

As soon as we got there, she collapsed onto my sofa, curling up like she belonged there.

It didn’t take more than a few seconds before she was out like a light. God, she was so fuckin’ adorable, lying there with that peaceful look on her face. I could’ve watched her sleep all day.

The kitten, always the little attention-seeker, curled up beside her, purring contentedly. As much as I wanted to join them, I knew I needed to recharge after everything that had happened earlier. My systems had definitely overheated, draining my battery faster than usual.

I was just grateful my battery didn’t die in the middle of anything. How embarrassing that would’ve been…

When I was fully charged, I joined Y/N and the kitten on the couch. I savored the moment for a few minutes, enjoying the peaceful scene, but I knew I had to wake her before her shift.

With gentle taps, I pulled her from her sleep. “Wake up, my princess,” I murmured, nuzzling against her.

She stirred, stretching and blinking away the remnants of sleep. “What time is it?” she asked, finally meeting my gaze.

Her voice was scratchy from sleep, but her eyes were bright and filled with happiness.

Damn, I love her so much.
