Montys pov:
Ignoring the blaring alarm, I rushed toward the security office. Unease creeping through me.
I could already tell, this isn’t good. Especially now with y/n… If the doors are locked… God, I hope Y/N’s okay. Please, let her be okay. Let it not be worse than it looks…
Too much was happening, too fast. Freddys Little malfunction, Mallory… y/n acting weird and hell even the kitten was still nowhere to be seen, but the only thing i needed to focus on at this Moment was y/n.
Cradling Y/N’s unconscious form in my arms, I held her head gently against my chest as I reached Sandra's office. A scan of her body informed that her vitals were at least stable. But she hit her head pretty hard…
“Fuck! What the fuck! Why now?” Sandra’s voice was a sharp, panicked hiss as she frantically tapped at the keyboards, trying to get the monitors to respond. “Stupid fucking shit-ass technology! Of all times to shut down, it picks now! Like oh I'm a computer and I'm just gonna stop working and send the entire pizzaplex into an emergency lockdown! That won't be suspicious to the police like at all! Haha!”
“Sandra…” I called out, my voice strained.
I had never seen Sandra like this—completely losing her cool. It shook me almost as much as everything else has been.
It wasn't normal for her.
She spun around, her eyes blazing with frustration, but the moment she saw me, saw Y/N limp in my arms, that fire turned to something else—fear, worry, and something like accusation.
“What happened this time? Did you do this?” Her voice was sharp.
I furrowed my brows, feeling a sting in my chest at her words. “What? How could you even think that? I would never hurt her.”
“Intentionally, no. But I know how your anger gets.”
“I wouldn’t. Hurt. Her.” I bit out each word, my voice low. The thought alone made me sick. I’d tear myself apart before I’d ever let her get hurt because of me.
Sandra’s gaze softened, and she didn’t argue, just nodded, her expression tight with concern. “Alright. Let’s get her to the first aid station. You can tell me what happened on the way.”
I nodded, and we hurried down to the first aid station. My thoughts were a tangled mess, and I struggled to find the right words. “I don’t entirely know what happened… To be honest, I was freaking out a bit. She was just sitting in a corner, and suddenly she freaked out too and tripped. I tried to catch her, but…” My voice faltered, guilt tightening around my chest like a vise. “She hit her head pretty hard and hasn’t woken up since. But her vitals are stable…”
I hesitated, the memory of her whispering to herself flashing through my mind. I decided not to mention it, realizing it might sound crazy.
“Alright, set her down on the bed,” Sandra instructed, her voice steady but tense.
I carefully laid Y/N on the bed, feeling a gnawing sense of helplessness as Sandra began to check the back of her head.
“There’s no wound… no blood,” Sandra murmured, her brow furrowed in concentration. “But the funny thing is, head injuries are always… tricky.”
I looked at her, brow raised, “I don’t see how that’s funny.”
“It’s not,” she admitted, rubbing her face in frustration. “It’s just… one thing after another…” She sighed, her eyes heavy with exhaustion, before she glanced back at Y/N, something catching her attention.
