It's been a year since they got married, Naila is in D.C. Zac planned a romantic dinner at a restaurant, he booked the whole place. Fatima is quite excited about their anniversary.

She was in the bathroom getting ready and decided to take a pregnancy test, it came out negative so she threw in the bin.

Zac: What's taking so long?

Fatima: I'm almost done, fine wine takes time.

Zac: You look great.

Fatima: Thank you baby. So where are we going?

Zac: You'll when we get there. You'll love it.

Fatima: I love you.

Zac: I love you too.

Zac: I love you too

Dinner was amazing. They came home and made love to each other like it was the first time. It's been a year since they eloped, all the ups and down they experienced just made them even stronger. Fatima snored as Zac had a grin on his face, he was happy.

His mood was dampened by the pregnancy test in the bin, this is the first pregnancy test since the procedure. For the first time, he prayed, a prayer that felt foreign but powerful.

2 months later, going into the third month. Naila is starting 3rd grade at a new private school. She loves the school because of the extra curricular activities it has, she loves the uniform and loves the fact that nobody knows her history like in the previous school. She can start a new school life, with narrative she could control. This school goes up to 12th grade.

Fatima: Look at you in your new uniform, you're so beautiful.

Naila: Thank you, I love it.

Zac brought a mini board written "3rd Grade".

Zac: Pictures time. Hold this.

Fatima: Really Zac? (Laughing)

Zac: What? This is everybody's first day, I've never taken a child to their first day of school and neither have you.

Fatima: True. Come, let's go outside.

They took pictures outside and went to have breakfast. The drive to school was amazing, Naila was talking about her plans for the school year and how excited she was to make new friends. The school was amazing, the uniform alone tells a lot about it, the culture and how expensive it is.

They accompanied her to her class, parents of new learners were there getting emotional, even Fatima, who hardly cries. They said their goodbyes.

Fatima: I'm starving.
