A month of agony in the Taylor household. Zac has been doing his best to keep everything together plus dealing with his emotions, alone. Fatima has completely checked out of life, she's empty. Naila has been feeling the change around the house.

Naila: The school has a parent teacher conference and my teacher said you haven't confirmed that you're coming.

Zac: I think mommy was supposed to send an email, I'll ask her when she wakes up.

Naila: Is she sick?

Zac: She's just hasn't been well.

Naila: Okay, my teacher said when our parents are upset we should cook their favourite meal.

Zac: I think that's a good idea, how about we go get her favourite breakfast.

Naila: Can I get an iced coffee too?

Zac: You're not allowed to have coffee.

Naila: But my friend at school drinks coffee.

Zac: Just this one time.

Naila: Yay, I'm not changing.

Zac: It's fine, just don't wear those boots I hate.

Fatima woke up to an empty house, a slow Saturday was in store for everyone. She did her morning routine, grabbed a bottle of wine and went back to the bedroom. Naila and Zac came back with food.

Zac went to check on Fatima.

Zac: I brought breakfast.

Fatima: Thanks. I'm good.

Zac: Okay.

Conversations were short, brief but with Naila, she pretended everything was fine. Her routine did not change but she knew that something was wrong with her mom.

Zac: you know, I'm getting tired of this. You can't keep drinking like this and it's not even 10:00 yet.

Fatima: Tired of what exactly? You don't see me bothering you, I'm just minding my business.

Zac: Of this, I understand that you're still healing but this? It's not healthy, and I think you need to speak to someone.

Fatima: I'm fine. Please just - leave me alone.

Zac: I won't, you're my wife and I hate seeing you like this. We experienced another loss and you are shutting me out.

Fatima: Why are you still here? (Getting teary). I can't give you want you want. You do your best to make me and Naila happy, and I can't give you the one thing that you long for.

Zac: Who cares about what I want? I have you and Naila, that's enough, would a baby be make me happy? Of course but now it's not our time. We need to have faith that God will answer our prayers one day.

Fatima started to cry, tears streaming down her face as she drank her wine from the bottle.

Fatima: I want to carry your child. I tried but I failed, again.

Zac: And you will. (He wrapped his arms around her). Please baby, just speak to someone.

Fatima: I'll try.

Zac: Thank you. Will you be joining us for breakfast? (Fatima nodded). Okay, we'll wait for you.

Downstairs, Naila was enjoying her iced coffee as they waited for Fatima to come down. The table was set with all the lovely food, the smell of coffee made her smile.
