Her feet felt heavy as she dragged them on the floor to open the door, surprised -yet disappointed- when she saw her father standing there. It wasn't usual for him to be there, she was always the one going to their place whenever they met outside of working hours, but there he was, looking at her as if there were many things he needed to tell her, when it was just summed up in one simple thing.

With a sigh, he crossed the door, both hands in his pocket while walking down the steps that led to the wide living room.

—How long are you going to continue like this?

—What? —she frowned, closing the door behind her while slowly turning to him.

—How long are you going to push him away?

—Dad... It's difficult. You won't understand it.

—I do —he nodded—. I really do —he assured her—. I know it's deeper than him telling us about your illness. Your overprotectiveness, as if we had no say in where we want to be to support you. But guess what? When someone loves you, they'll find a way to involve themselves into whatever is wrong. Because that's what you do for your people.

Y/n stayed in silence, crossing her arms as she supported her back on the backrest of the couch. Whenever she thought she was going one step ahead, there was something that showed her she was being caught.

—You may have pushed him away, he may have acted like he accepted it, but I can tell that boy is so in love with you he'll worry about everything involving you either way —he mirrored her position, standing next to her—. He's called me every single day to ask me how you were doing. That's what I mean when I say you can't control other people's decisions. He'll worry, whether you want it or not. And I think it's a bit stupid to be heartbroken, when the result will be the same. But that's just my opinion —his shoulders shrugged.

Their eyes were connected for a brief moment, but Harry could see the water in the corners, slowly piling up as they got closer to roll down her cheeks.

—You came all the way here to tell me this?

—I came all the way here because I saw the way you looked at each other at the party. And I can't stand seeing you hurting when it was an easy solution. I came here —his arm wrapped around her shoulder—, because I thought you needed to hear these words to make a decision and consider if this pain is worth it. And now that the message is delivered, I'll let you think about it while I'm going back home to the love of my life —he kissed her temple—. Stop playing stupid, and go back to yours.

As serious as the situation was, Y/n couldn't help but smile at her father's words while he walked away towards the door, blowing her a kiss at the distance before closing the door behind him.

There were a few minutes she needed to consider what she was going to do next, assuming the new information coming from her father, and everything San said the previous night. At the fourth minute, she was already reaching for her phone, looking through her contacts to find Wooyoung's number.

—It's my favorite girl! How are you? Is everything okay? It's been so long since we last talked...

—Woo, we talked yesterday.

Despite what happened between them, Wooyoung always tried to keep contact with her, even if things with San got colder the past few days. He and Hongjoong became the closest to her after the several times they met after they started the dating act, and she wasn't really thinking of giving up their friendships either. Just like she wasn't thinking of giving up San.

—Is San home? —she asked.

—Oh my god, Y/n —he sighed—. I can't keep being your mole here. I'm starting to think you're only friends with me because you want to know about San.
