chapter 18

Mugilan's pov:

When I returned back from office I saw Jimmy roaming around I know very well that this is done by my loving wife without any second thoughts. So I took him back to our home to scare her since I couldn't find here there I went to aunty's home with him. I saw a couple sitting there but my first task is some so I decided to complete it first. I scared her by asking him to go to her. After having fun I asked him to go  back and he complied.

" don't mind these both here ma. Sometimes they would behave even worst than kids and surely our time will pass happily " aunty said to them moreover surprisingly my wife was quiet.

" by the way aunty are they your long last relatives " I asked her.

" yeah I asked them to come here so that I can kidnap your wife " she said sarcastically.

" you don't have to worry aunty they will return her back after two day as they won't be able to tolerate her. You see I'm the only single piece in the world who can handle her... ah.. " I jumped in one leg as she stomped on my leg.

" see aunty... you are not even scolding her " I complained to aunty.

" why should I scold her. Kayal ma whatever you are doing is right." Aunty said to which she smirked at me .

" aunty I'm leaving I have to prepare something nice for him " she said smiling sweetly and left.

" she is going to torture you today " aunty said.

" nothing that I couldn't handle aunty. By the way I'm Mugilan " I forwarded my hand to the man infront of me. He thought for a second and shook my hand with a forced smile on his face.

" I'm Vivek and this is my wife Radhika . We have newly shifted here " he said to which I nodded and smiled at him wife.

" If you guys need any help you can ask me or my wife. Here this is my contact number " I handed over my card.

" okay gentlemen and gentlewomen, I have to calm down her so bye... it's nice meeting you... bye aunty " I said and left from there  back to my home.

She was sitting on the couch while some song was playing in the T.V. but she was neither concentrated nor angry but she was in deep thoughts. I didn't disturb her. I freshened up and came back and sat beside her . I placed my head on her lap as felt me she laced her fingers into my hair.

" what are you thinking "  I asked her.

" He was my ex " she said making me still for a moment.

" Are you talking about Vivek... our new neighbor " I asked her again to confirm my doubts.  No wonder his smile was forced on seeing me.

" whenever he is in my life something bad keeps on happening I wonder what is going to happen now " she mumbled.

" Nothing will happen. Why are bothering of something which has no significance in your life anymore. Don't hold grudge just be yourself everything will happen for a reason. " I said holding her plam and kissing it.

" but I'm scared Mugil " she said.

" I'm here right so don't worry about anything and chill out " I said trying to cheer her up. She sighed and I snuggled more into her by facing her stomach now.

" you are my wife Kayal , I will never ever give you up for anyone in this world.  I will fight against anyone who comes in between us so don't worry no one will do anything if so then they will have to face my wrath " I said  kissing her stomach...
