Waking up + Cheka

Y/n finally woke up and found herself in the nurse's office. She wondered how she got there before remembering what had happened. She sat up but winced when she felt pain coming to her head. "Ow..." she murmured as she rubbed her now bandaged head.
Upon hearing her voice, Yuu, Ace, Deuce, and Grim raced to her side.
"Y/n! Are you ok!?" Yuu asked.
"How do you feel?" Ace asked.
"Any pain?" Deuce asked.
"Mraw! I'm so sorry for throwing the disk at you!" Grim yelled as he cried in Y/n's stomach.
Y/n blinked a couple of times as she hadn't expected such a response upon waking up. However, she comforted Grim, who still cried in her stomach as she calmed the others. "Relax everyone. I'm ok," she said.
This caused the group to let out a relieved sigh as they relaxed a bit.
"Phew! I'm glad you're feeling alright. You had us worried there," Yuu said.
"Yeah, no kidding! We were worried that you wouldn't wake up," Ace said.
"Thankfully, it wasn't too bad like we originally thought," Deuce said.
"You guys don't have to worry about me. I've dealt with far more injuries than being hit in the head by a disk," Y/n said as she waved her hand dismissively.
Upon hearing this, caused the three males to cringe, knowing what she meant. After all, they had witnessed such brutality in her matches through Daniel's ability. However, they wouldn't tell her they knew what she dealt with. Instead, they were about to say something until Leona interrupted them. "Oi, can you herbivores be even louder than you already are? I'm trying to sleep here," he said while lying down.

Everyone turned to him as Y/n noticed not just him but also Ruggie and Jack in the room. She was surprised that she didn't notice them earlier. "Oh, sorry, Leona, I didn't see you there. How long have you been here?" She asked.
"None of your business, herbivore," Leona replied, causing Y/n to become irritated.
"Well, excuse me for asking, your highness. Didn't mean to offend you by a harmless question, you useless lion motherfucker," Y/n said sarcastically while rolling her eyes, causing Leona to become annoyed a tad bit.
Ruggie ended up laughing. "Shehehe! She got you there, Leona, and right where it hurts," he said.
Leona growled. "Shut it, Ruggie, or else I turn you into sand," he said as he looked ready to throttle someone.
"Besides all this, why are you here and not on the field? Did you lose to someone or something?" Y/n asked as she looked at Leona questionably.
Leona didn't reply as Ruggie decided to take charge. "Yep! We lost against Diasomnia! It didn't help that we were already half injured before the match began—Diasmonia became the winners of this year's spelldrive again," he explained.
"Wait, so Diasmonia winning every year was not an exaggeration?" Y/n asked in shock. Everyone shook their heads at her question.
"Nope! We saw Diasomnia's dorm leader's strength firsthand. That guy is a monster!" Ace said.
"Yeah, no kidding, he was far more powerful than I originally thought," Deuce said.
"I thought the rumors of him being powerful were an exaggeration, but I was proven wrong," Yuu said.
"Mraw! That guy was a monster, Y/n! You should've seen him in action!" Grim said.
Y/n hummed as she petted Grim on the head as she was about to say something. However, she didn't get to when a small visitor approached them. They were a small child with lion attributes and orange hair with brown like eyes. He had a broad smile on his face as he walked in.
"Hey, who's the kid there?" Ace asked as he scratched the back of his head in confusion.
"Whose child is this, and where are their parents?" Deuce asked.
"Hey kid, are you lost?" Jack asked.
The little boy looked around at those looking at him. "Hi! Is this where Unca is?" He asked.
Y/n decided to get off the bed and approach the boy. She bent down to his level and questioned him on who this Unca was. "Who's this Unca's name?" She asked.
"Leona!" The boy yelled happily.
This shocked the others, and Leona groaned. "Here comes the screech box," he said.
As soon as Leona said that—the boy's expression became excited as he ran over to where he was and tackled him. "Unca! There you are! I saw your match! Teach me how to play like you!" He yelled as he sat on Leona's chest.
"Ack! Get off! I'm still injured, you know!" Leona scolded him.
"This kid is riding the dorm leader as if it's nothing, and he's not even pushing him off!" Jack said in shock.
"Who is this kid anyways?" Ruggie asked.
Leona groaned in annoyance. "He's my nephew, my brother's son named Cheka," he said.
"Nephew!?" Everyone shouted in shock, except for Y/n, who had an inkling feeling that the boy was his nephew.
"So the person causing Leona's misery—" Ruggie began.
"Is this little boy?" Jack asked while finishing Ruggie's words.
Everyone stared as a small child named Cheka used Leona as a seat.
"Say Unca! Will you be visiting the family this holiday? Will you!?" Cheka asked as he smiled down at Leona.
"Maybe—I don't know! Now get off, Cheka! Your uncle is injured," Leona scolded; however, Cheka wasn't listening and instead began jumping on Leona's stomach, causing Leona to groan in pain.
The others laughed at this, amused by the two's interaction. However, Y/n went over and grabbed Cheka to stop him from causing more harm to Leona.
"Now, Cheka, your uncle is injured. Please don't jump on him like he's a trampoline. He needs to heal," Y/n said as she scolded the boy softly.
"Ugh, thanks herbivore. I appreciate the help," Leona said as he finally relaxed once Cheka was pulled off him.
Y/n giggled at Leona's words as she put Cheka on the floor. "No problem. It's the least I could do after I slammed three pallets on your head," she said smugly.
"Yeah, yeah. Could you not remind me? Your strength is something because my head still hurts from the pallet stuns," Leona said as he rubbed the back of his head, still hurting from earlier.
Y/n just giggled at Leona's reaction, as did the others. However, seeing this interaction caused Cheka to look between his uncle and Y/n.
"Unca, are you dating her?" Cheka asked as he pointed at Y/n.
"Huh?!" Y/n and Leona yelled at the same time.
"You both look like a cute couple! Like ma and pa!" Cheka said smiling.
Y/n didn't know how to reply as her face began to turn red. While Leona's was also starting to turn red, he grabbed Cheka by the scruff. "Now don't get any funny business, you hear! We are not a thing! So you better not tell the family about this, you hear?!" He scolded the boy.
Cheka just smiled as the others seemed annoyed by the boy's words. It didn't sit well with them at how the child assumed the two were a couple. They believe they were far a better match than Leona was. However, they tried not to take it to heart, considering a little boy was asking a harmless question. Instead, they distracted themselves by talking to Cheka, mostly asking what Leona was like back home until the guards came to take the boy away, leaving Leona to relax and heal. The group stayed together until, bit by bit, the group disbanded for the day.

Fun facts about this chapter.
Y/n doesn't know that her scars were healed. Those in the room know about it but don't plan to tell Y/n about it just yet. They are still traumatized from witnessing her previous matches.
Leona now knows that Y/n is stronger than she appears to be. This is not just because he witnessed her matches, but because he had witnessed Y/n smacking him with the pallets while in his overblot form and was impressed by her strength.
Cheka thinks Leona and Y/n are dating, which doesn't sit well with the others.
Cheka will definitely tell his mom and dad that Leona has a girlfriend now. (Leona is in deep shit when he goes back for the holidays. Lol.)
The other dorms are concerned about Y/n later after witnessing her past.
Those who witnessed her matches are still traumatized from such brutality she faced.
The author made a small mistake in the previous chapter. She forgot that Rook notified Vil about the matches. (She was trying to have everyone in the room say something and forgot the two knew of the dangerous matches that Y/n was in—oops)
