Meeting Leona

The next few days went smoothly. Everything seemed to be at peace after Riddle's Overblot. Everyone went to class as usual. However, to Y/n, it was strange how every male she encountered checked in on her. First, it was during the first years that Ace, Deuce, and Yuu asked if she was alright. Then, Jack and Sebak asked if she was upset in any way. Y/n didn't think anything of it as she told them she was okay.
But then, in the second year, it became weird. Silver asked if she was hurt in any way. Ruggie, Jamil, and Kalim brought her treats and told her to feel better soon. Azul, Jade, and Floyd gave her a permanent discount whenever she visited Monstruo Lounge and told her to cheer up. This caused Y/n to wonder why the 2nd year was giving her gifts and saying such things.
Finally, the third year came, and they were even more weirder than the last class! Vil and Rook gave Y/n a gift set complete with skincare and makeup made by Vil. As both males told her, they were sorry for whatever happened. Idia gave her a rare game card before running away. Carter gave her a phone and taught her how to use it. She was also told to message him whenever she needed to talk. Trey baked her some cookies but didn't tell her why he made them for her. Finally, Lilia and Malleus both showed extreme overprotectiveness for the female.
Y/n didn't know what to think! She wondered why everyone was doing all this and telling her these random things. It felt as if she was being treated like a porcelain doll. And honestly, she was becoming annoyed at this point by the constant babying she was having. She had to get up from her desk and excuse herself before leaving. However, Malleus and Lilia followed after her, causing her to become annoyed.
"Why are you two following me?" Y/n asked the two males, slightly irritated she was being followed.
"We are only worried about you. Please slow down so we can talk," Lilia said, floating behind her as Malleus followed suit.
Y/n didn't like the two males following her as she walked faster. Both the males behind noticed and sped up. But this caused Y/n to begin running to try and shake them off. This surprised the two males as they didn't expect her to be so fast. But they ran or floated faster to catch up with her. They became worried when she kept looking back at them every few seconds without looking where she was going.
Malleus suddenly noticed something. "Y/n! Stop!" He shouted.
"Why should I?!" Y/n yelled.
"Miss Nair, look in front of you!" Lilia yelled worriedly.
"Huh? AHH!" Y/n yelled as she realized what was happening.

Y/n had run straight to the school's stairs unknowingly. She noticed too late as she began to fall. She let out a scream as the males behind her became worried.
"Y/n! Grab my hand!" Malleus shouted as he reached his arm out to grab her, but he missed her by the second. Y/n stared at them, terrified, as she began to fall.
"Y/n!" Malleus yelled.
"Miss Nair!!" Shouted Lilia.

Y/n closed her eyes, waiting for the impact at the bottom of the stairs, but she didn't feel anything. She opened her eyes and looked to see what happened. There, she lay perfectly in a muscular, tanned male's arms. He had long, wavy brown hair and green-like eyes with a scar across one eye. He had lion-like attributes within him as he stared down at her in his arms. He stared at her, annoyed before his eyes widened upon seeing Y/n's face closer.
"It's you," the new male mumbled in shock.
Y/n wondered what he meant by it's her, but wondered who he was. "Who are you?" She asked.
"Hmph. Asking who I am without a thank you for saving you? Heh. What an interesting herbivore you are—I'm Leona Kingscholar, one of the third years," the male named Leona said.
"I see, and my apologies—thank you, Leona, for saving me. Could you put me down?" Y/n asked after thanking the male.
Leona did as he was told, and he carefully set her down, which was very strange coming from him. He grunted when Malleus and Lilia came over.
"Dear! Are you alright?! You gave us a fright!" Lilia said as he checked on Y/n's condition.
"Are you okay?" Malleus asked, concerned, as he also checked her condition to see if she was alright.
"I-I'm fine—Leona saved me," Y/n said as she gestured to Leona beside her.
Both the males, or should I say faes, turned to Leona. Malleus grimaced as he tried to force a thank you to come to his lips, but Leona beat him. "Don't thank me, you giant lizard. I don't need your 'thank you's,' especially coming from you," he said.
His words irked Malleus, who looked annoyed. A sinister grin appeared on his lips as he gave him an evil smile. "Oh? Why would I thank you, Leona? You got me wrong as I wasn't about to thank you, but I do somewhat appreciate you for saving Y/n just now, but still—you don't deserve a thank you coming from me, you lazy good for nothing second prince," he said.
Leona growled. "Oh? How rich to hear that coming from an ugly lizard such as yourself. Do yourself a favor and jump into a dug-up hole of 10 feet and never crawl out of there," he said.
This irked Malleus as he and Leona looked ready to fight. This shocked and confused Y/n, who wondered what was going on. She was concerned for the two and was about to diffuse their argument. However, Lilia tapped her shoulder, causing her to look over. He smiled at her as he pointed in another direction. "They are always like this as they have a sort of rivalry against each other. Don't worry about them. Now, go to the cafeteria—lunch has begun," he said.
Y/n wanted to decline, but her stomach growled at that very moment, causing her to become embarrassed as Lilia just smiled.
Too embarrassed that her stomach growled right there and then. She left without saying anything. Lilia waved her goodbye as he stayed there to make sure that both males didn't kill each other.

Y/n arrived at the cafeteria as she met up with her friends. She had gotten a tray of food before heading over to them.

She looked frazzled as the group looked shocked at her appearance.
"Woah! What happened to you?" Ace asked, shocked by Y/n's sudden appearance and frazzled state.
Y/n let out a sigh. "It's a long story, but never mind about me—what's wrong with him?" She asked as she pointed at Grim.
Grim was sitting on the table, all gloomy and doomed. His appearance baffled Y/N, so the guys decided to explain.
"Well, the cafeteria had a special bakery deal, and Grim got the last grilled cheese deluxe, but for some reason, he gave it away to a person named Ruggie," Yuu explained.
"No! I didn't give it to him! He did something that made me hand it over!" Grim shouted.
"Huh? But it looked like you gave it to him regardless," Deuce pointed out.
"I said I did not!! I'm not lying!!" Grim shouted, annoyed.
"Woah, there, fur ball! Chill! We weren't saying you're lying, as we are only saying what we saw," Ace said.
Grim just glared at Ace and the others and decided not to hang out with them at the moment. Instead, he went to Y/n, who comforted him while giving him part of her food to make up for his lost sandwich.
"Mraw! Thanks Y/n—you're the best!" Grim said as he munched on what Y/n gave him.
Y/n smiled at Grim as she continued to eat her meal with him. The other males glared at the fur ball for getting her attention. They were jealous, but they wouldn't tell anyone that.

The rest of the day went smoothly as everyone returned to their dorms. Some went to their clubs at the end of classes, but the rest of the day was uneventful.

Leona caught a whiff of her perfume, but wasn't immediately hooked. He only became intrigued with her.
Malleus was close to thanking Leona for saving Y/n, but was interrupted by Leona, who didn't want his thanks. He found it creepy.
Leona thought Y/n had a hot ass. He was tempted on spanking it before she left.
