Questionable exam results

After the strange encounter with Azul, the days went on as the Exams came and went. Y/n no longer needed to wear a bandage over her head. This caused relief to both the students and teachers.
At first, her appearance with the bandage caused significant worry for most of them. Even though she had told them it was nothing drastic and that she was okay. It didn't sit well with them, but they had no choice but to accept it. When she finally removed it, it was an understatement to say they weren't as worried as much.

While the days went on as usual, Y/n noticed something wasn't right. She was focused on helping Crewel and Trein grade some exam papers. Classes had exams that day, as the teachers and helpers were currently grading the students' results.
While grading, she couldn't help but notice something was amiss while grading the student's papers. "Is it just me, or does it seem strange how 95% of these students had passed these exams with flying colors?" She asked as she sat between Crewel and Trein while helping them grade.
Trein was busy signing the papers but agreed with her as he did so. "You're not alone. I find it strange how everyone is passing. Most of these students passing had either not paid attention to the classes I taught or had fallen asleep," he said.
"It's very suspicious how these pups managed to get A's on these exams. Something strange is going on," Crewel added
"Do you think some sort of cheating occurred when these exams came out?" Y/n asked worriedly.
"Unfortunately, there were no signs of cheating. Lucius didn't see any suspicious activities when these exams were out, right?" Trein asked his cat.
Lucius meowed as it purred when Trein petted his head. He purred before moving away and hopping onto Y/n's lap. Y/n gave him a few cat scratches under his chin while continuing to grade the other papers.
"Hmm, if there weren't any signs of deception. Then perhaps these students did study," Crewel said thoughtfully as he went over to grab another paper but was surprised when he touched Y/n's hand instead.
"Ah, sorry," Y/n said as she moved her hand away and grabbed another paper lying around.
"It's quite alright, love. There is no need to apologize," Crewel said as he grabbed a different paper and began grading it.
Y/n ignored the nickname he gave her and instead continued grading the papers. She still thought it was strange how many students were passing with flying colors, but what did she know? Perhaps these students had studied for the tests, but she'll never know as she continues to grade the ungraded test results.

The exams' results were finally up, allowing the students to see their work. Many students were lined up as they looked to see what rank they were in, especially Ace, Deuce, and Grim, who were standing in front Yuu with Y/n.
"What rank am I?!" Ace said.
"Please move! I need to see!" Deuce begged.
"Mraw! Out of my way!" Grim yelled.
The three's behavior made Yuu and Y/n curious. The two wondered why the three were hurrying to see their results.
"Why are they so curious to see the test scores?" Y/n asked.
Yuu shrugged. "I don't even know. I'm surprised that Grim wants to know despite him not caring in the past," he said.
"Has Grim studied for these exams? Seems kinda unlike him," Y/n said while asking if Grim had studied.
"I'm not sure. He was up pretty late for the last three days. I didn't ask why or what he was doing, so maybe?" Yuu said, but it was more like a question as he didn't know for sure.
"That's odd. Maybe he did study, and we didn't know," Y/n replied.
Before Yuu could reply, Ace yelled at both Grim and Deuce. "Wait! You two did as well!?" He yelled.
This caused the two to look at the three curiously as Deuce and Grim replied to Ace.
"Wait! Ace! Did you also sign the contract?" Deuce asked.
"Contract? What contract?" Y/n asked, but she was ignored by the panicked males.

What happened next shocked Yuu and Y/n as strange things popped up on Ace, Deuce, and Grim's heads.
"What the—what is that?" Yuu asked in shock as he pointed at the three.
Meanwhile, Y/n tried not to laugh at the three's appearance. They looked ridiculous with those things on their head, but she wouldn't tell them that face to face. Instead, she held it in as she was confused by watching the three heading in a direction.
"Where are they going?" Yuu asked.
"I'm not sure. We should follow them!" Y/n said as Yuu agreed with her.

The two followed the three as they reached the mirror halls. They saw Jack, who seemed confused upon seeing the many students in the room.
"Jack! Are you also confused about what's going on?" Yuu asked as he went over to him.
Jack turned to them. "Yuu? Miss Nair? Do you see what I'm also seeing?" He asked.
"Yeah, we do," Yuu said as Y/n nodded.
"Just what the heck is going on? Why are all these students heading in this direction and into that one mirror?" Jack asked as he pointed to the mirror that most of the students were going towards.
"They're going to the mirror that belongs to the dorm, Octavinelle? " Y/N asked, confused about why everyone was going there.
"Why are they going there? It's nothing but a dorm underwater," Jack pointed out.
"Come on, let's go follow them!" Yuu said.
"Wait, why do I have to go with you? This has nothing to do with me," Jack said as he crossed his arms and grunted.
Y/n turned to him pleadingly. "Please, Jack? We might need your help if things go south. Yuu and I aren't that strong," she said.
"I think you mean that Yuu isn't strong. You, on the other hand, are," Jack pointed out.
"Whatever. Come on!" Y/n said as she grabbed Jack and pulled him to where Yuu had gone.
"Ack, hey!" Jack yelled as he was taken aback by Y/n's strength when she pulled him, but he didn't argue. He got to hold her hand as they went into the mirror.

Fun facts about this chapter:
Y/n found it odd how so many people were passing the exams.
Some of the teachers thought there was cheating going on, considering nobody took their classes seriously; however, they had no actual proof of it.
Crewel thought Y/n had soft hands and wanted to touch her hands longer, even though he was wearing gloves.
Yuu found it odd that Grim had stayed up extra late for the past few days. He went to sleep early, so he didn't know Grim was studying.
The next chapter will be more accurate in Chapter 4's plot wise regarding speech with added fun.
