Deal or no deal?

"So what is it you want from me, Azul?" Y/n asked as she stood behind the desk with her arms crossed and with a severe gaze on her face.
Azul smiled as he tried to ease the tension around Y/n. "There's no need to be so tense! I want a friendly chat," he said.
"I highly doubt that. After what I saw? I am starting to think you want something from me, so what is it?" Y/n asked.
"My, you caught me red-handed. I indeed want something from you, but since you don't have magic—I'd like something else from you," Azul admitted.
"What is it? I don't have much on me within this world, as I'm sure you know I'm from a different dimension," Y/n pointed out.
"True, but it's nothing big. You see, the Mostro Lounge is in quite a pickle, as you may not have known. We were thinking of having music playing as people dine. However, we've come across a problem," Azul began.
"And that would be what?" Y/n asked questionably with a raised eyebrow.
"Our machine that plays music ended up getting jammed. Of course, we have someone working on fixing it, but for now, we have no music to entertain the guests at the restaurant, and we truly need all the help we can get," Azul explained.
"I see, but why does this involve me?" Y/n asked, confused about why Azul was telling her all this.
"Simple! We decided to have live music play instead of the usual music box! And for that, I'd like you to sing for the Mostro Lounge!" Azul said with a gleeful smile.
Y/n eyes widened in shock as she immediately shook her head and crossed her arms in a no position. "Nope! No, no, no! Nope! I will not do it even if you beg!" She yelled as she didn't want to sing in front of a large audience.
"But we desperately need all the help we can get! Please reconsider!" Azul said while trying to persuade her.
Y/n shook her head. "No! I will not!" She said as she stood her ground.
"Hmm, then how can I change your mind? Hmm...ah, I know, if you don't sing, then something terrible will happen to the students that just arrived at the Mostro Lounge," Azul began.
This caught Y/n's attention as a look of anger came to her expression. She slammed her hand down on the table and leaned forward while glaring at Azul. "First, you want me to sing, and now you're blackmailing me?! How dare you threaten me with the students! How shady can you get!?" She yelled.
Azul grinned upon seeing how worked up she was, as this was his goal. "That's how businesses work, Miss Nair. I would take this into deep consideration. If you decline, then that's alright, but I can't guarantee that the students will be safe in my hands. Just imagine what would happen if their beloved teacher decided to abandon them. Oh, poor unfortunate souls," he said.
Y/n didn't like this as she slapped Azul in the face—my gosh, she needed to stop beating people. But she felt a bit of comfort in slapping Azul, as the male did threaten her with the students. Call her what you will, but she doesn't like people using others for selfish desires. She couldn't help but feel pride upon seeing the shocked expression on Azul's face.

The enforced slap took the male aback, but he pushed up his glasses and acted as if nothing had happened to him, even though his cheek was burning. "Now, do calm down, Miss Nair. Based on what I said, there's no need for violence. It's your choice whether or not you follow my conditions. I'm giving you this time to think, so it's best to consider your next response. As it will depend on the student's safety," he added with a shady grin.

Y/n stayed silent as she tried to think of a way to escape this. However, she saw no way out of this as she looked at her choices.
On one hand, she could walk out and not agree with the terms. But then the students would be in Azul's hands, and he could do whatever he pleased. That didn't sit well with her, as she had already let them down once. She had the option to help tutor the students needing help with the exams, which she failed to do as they were now in Azul's grasp. To her, Azul seems like the person who would keep his promise. It wouldn't surprise her if he does decide to harm the students while they are with him. She could perhaps watch over them while being at the Mostro Lounge, but with the cost of her singing in front of many. She didn't like that, but she also didn't like leaving all the students alone. It appears she has no choice, as she let out a sigh. "Fine, you win," she said.

Azul gave her a confused grin, but it still had an evil glee. "Oh? What do you mean by I win? Do we perhaps have a deal?" He cooed.
"I will sing, but only if you promise that you won't harm the students as you claim to," Y/n replied.
Azul smiled with glee as he clapped his hands. "Marvelous! We are looking forward to your songs and your performances then! The Mostro Lounge will be open for you to sing after all classes have been dismissed. You may now leave as we shall prepare for your upcoming stage," he said, waving Y/n goodbye.

Y/n had no choice but to leave after hearing what Azul had to say. A bitter aftertaste was in her mouth as she didn't feel good about it. She tried to hide her disappointment from Jack and Yuu, who both were worried about her. While Ace, Deuce, and Grim were no longer there as they were put to work by the Leech twins.
The two males asked what had happened back there, but Y/n told them not to worry about it before leaving. Of course, this didn't sit well with them, as they stayed worried even when they split up. However, Yuu didn't try to bother Y/n with any questions as he didn't want to annoy the female, which the latter was thankful for as they arrived back at their dorm.
Yuu decided to fix dinner for himself and Y/n. While Y/n had gone to her room to change into comfortable clothes, she stopped when she found a letter on her desk. Curious, she picked up the letter and read it.

"My dearest,
You look so lovely in the outfit you are wearing. Yet my heart aches at how you don't pay as much attention to me as you do. Why do you pain me like this? Oh, the pain! I want your attention as you are the light to my darkness! Pay attention to me more; I am my only love.
I'm forever yours."

The letter caused Y/n to be confused as she wondered who wrote this. She knew it couldn't be Yuu since when did he have time to write and put the letter in her room? He was at school and with her most of the day, plus he would've given her the letter face to face so that it couldn't be him. Could it have been one of her students? If so, then which one and who could it be? But she didn't have time to wonder, as Yuu called her downstairs when dinner was ready. Reluctantly, she put the letter aside and left to eat her dinner made by Yuu.
Yuu made a delicious meal for both of them to enjoy, but their dinner was cut short by Crowley, who came seeking their help. Through the birdbrain, the two found out that this wasn't the first time that Azul had done a shady business and that Crowley had to create the Mostro Lounge to free the students in one of the past years. This upset both Yuu and Y/n as they called Crowley weak before the man himself began begging the two to help free the students. Yuu had no choice but to agree as he would get money in return. But Y/n had to decline as she won't be able to help as much due to making a deal with Azul. This worried Crowley and Yuu, who wondered if she was tricked like the other students. Y/n denied it all and claimed she would sing for the Mostro Llounge. This surprised the two as they didn't know she could sing, but they wouldn't lie to say they were eager to hear her sing. Of course, they won't be telling her that. Not to her face, at least, as she didn't look happy.
In the end, Yuu will have to save the students himself. At the same time, Crowley leaves the two to finish their dinner before they both head to bed.
