♣️Ryan's POV♣️

Mindy clung herself on me as she whimpers out the words 'scary' and 'demons', among others.

My instant reflex was to push her off and tell her to man up, which I didn't do.

"Why did you take me to that?" She whimpered out.

"Did you not see the sold out sign for every other movie at that specific time?" I sounded pissed, but mainly annoyed.

"We could've done something else!" She insisted.

"Like go to the mall while I watch you buy you clothes? No thanks."

We were standing in the lobby with her shaking and hanging onto my arm like it was her life line.

Everybody from the theater we were just in leave and start to crowd up the lobby.

"Come on, we should go." I grab Mindy's arm and pull her outside into the darkness.

When I turned a corner outside, looking for my car, I found something else.

Hanah stood there, phone in hand, dim streetlight shining down on her creating this yellow glow.

"Ryan, let's go!" Mindy's voice caused both Hanah and I to look at her.

I shoved my car keys at Mindy and told her to get in the car first.

After I saw her walk away, I walked up to Hanah.

"Are you at the movies by yourself?"

She looked up, her eyebrows crossed, like she was pissed. "No." Then she looked back down.

I looked around the parking lot. "Then who are you with?"

A car honked and Hanah looked up. From the driver seat I could see the guy everyone was talking about today with Hanah.

"With him." She said as she was walking away from me.

Hanah opened the passenger door and got in. She briefly looked out the window, a look of sadness on her face. But I wasn't sure since the car drove away.

I walked to where my car was to see Mindy sleeping on the backseat. I mentally cursed at myself.

When I rolled up to Mindy's house, I put my car on parked and held her bridal style out of my car.

Since her parents weren't home, I got the key that was located on top of the door and opened my way in.

Nothing changed in Mindy's house. All the same furniture, the same smell, the same cleanliness.

I walked up to Mindy's room and gently placed her on her bed, then I tucked her in.

Mindy's room changed. She no longer had pink walls, they were now white with stencil drawings on them. Her room also used to be covered in drawing paper, one beautiful design after another.

I walked out of her house reminded of why I liked Mindy when I did. It was cause of her personality, the way she was. I broke up with her when that changed.

Hanah's POV

"Who was that kid?" Reese asked as I got in the car.

"This playboy in school that all the girls faun over." I rolled my eyes, can't believe I was having this convo.

"All the girls?" Reese's eyebrows up went.

"All but me and this other chick, Kristina. She's actually my friend."
