Hanah's POV

I watched as my dad ran out of the house and into his car.

Oh gosh, Ashlyn just overdosed.

"I'm going with him," I tell my mom.

I run out of my house and to Ryan's. I tell him to get his car keys and that we were going to the hospital.

Thank god he didn't question as he sped off to the hospital on my instructions.

And thank god we got there when the doctor was informing my dad and Aidan on what happened.

"We found many anti-biotic in her body. Too many to list. There were from sleeping pills to anti-depression pills. It looked like she grabbed whatever she found and downed them. They all kicked into her system, and we are going to have to pump her stomach for the drugs to leave."

My dad nods the whole time, truly looking consider. Aidan, who was right beside him, looked horrified. Like he was going to cry. I would too.

"Thank you, doctor."

The doctor nods and goes back into Ashlyn's room.

I walked up to the both of them and gave Aidan the biggest hug I managed to muster up.

"It's going to be ok," I said. I've learned over the years to not say "I'm sorry". It's because those words don't fix errors.

"Thanks, Hanah." His voice cracked as he spoke and that made my heart tear. Aidan was the most positive person I knew, seeing him like this gutted me.

"We're not allowed to see her at the moment," my dad said.

He took a seat at one of the chairs in the front of the room. Aidan took the one next to him.

"Why did she do it?" I asked.

"She wanted out," Aidan explained.

According to his story, Ashlyn got home before he and Reese did. He found her on the bathroom floor passed out, a bunch of pill bottles spilled on the floor and surrounding her.

"She even wrote me a note," he choked up. "She wrote me a goddamn note."

"A suicide note," I whispered.

His head nodded while his eyes watered to the max.

I wanted nothing more than to rewind time and go back to the wedding. When mom showed up and Ashlyn ran out. I would've pulled Ashlyn back and stopped her. If I knew this would happen, I would pull her back.

We waited there till God knows when. Time seemed to tick by slowly, but eventually the doctor came out again.

"Good news, she did well. Everything is flushed out. Bad news, she's stuck in a coma."

"For how long?" Aidan asked.

"We're not sure yet. But it looks like a month to two."

Aidan nodded.

"Thanks Doctor," my dad said.
