Hanah's POV

Sixth period: Lunch

Once the dismissal bell rung, I raced out of the art room. I made sure the distance from Ryan and I were like the Earth and the Sun. Or maybe like Pluto and the Sun.

I quickly scanned the cafeteria, looking for David, and I finally did.

David was surrounded by two other people, who seem to be his friends. They were all laughing and playing around, I didn't really want to be a bother.

Before I could find a different place to sit, David saw me and waved me over.

I sheepishly walked over and took a seat next to him.

"Hanah, this is Chris." He pointed to a blonde kid that was skinny by the look of it. "And this is Alex." He pointed to the guy sitting next to Chris. Alex had brown hair, and was really tall by the looks of it.

"Hi, Hanah," Chris said.

"Hi," I replied back.

"So, how'd you know our pal David here?" Alex asked.

"Class. Random meets in the hallway," I shrugged. "You know, the usual."

"Bumped into her in the middle of the hallway and we instantly fell for each other," David whispered to his friends.

I slapped him on the arm. "That did not happen, the falling for each other part."

He looked at me and smirked. I scoffed.

I was sitting next to David, across from Alex. Alex was next to Chris, and Chris was across from David. A perfect square.

Lunch ended with me being better friends with Chris and Alex.

Seventh period: Physical Education (aka; Public Embarrassment)

I hated gym. And by hate, oh I mean hate. Worst class ever. I don't get the freaking point of it. So what? We have to be smart and be fit ? That's stupid. I rather be fat and smart.

At least I had Chris to keep me company. But he got stolen away by this girlfriend I've never heard of, Ananya.

I awkwardly stood there, looking around for at least another person like me; awkward and alone.

Sadly, there was no one else.

Fuck.

Another reason why I hated gym, Ryan was there, oh, and my stroke of luck, so is Mindy.

The fact that there was at two other teachers that teaches gym at this period but fucking Ryan and fucking Mindy had to end up in my class.

And gladly I had Chris. No offense, but I was glad Ananya wasn't in my class, she would've stolen Chris away from me every chance she got.

Since it was the first day, we didn't actually do anything. So I did people watching.

Mindy was hanging on to Ryan, while Ryan is just there stringing her along.

Chris is talking Ananya, and it clearly looked like Ananya was about to be in tears.

Other people were also talking to their friends. Or more than just talking for some.

And for the rest of the period I just sat there, listened to my music, and people watched.

Glancing at people every now and then, also noticing people look at me. And by people, I mean Ryan.

Eighth period: Spanish

I didn't bother waiting for Chris, but I did give him an apologetic smile. Then walked off to Spanish class.

I saw David as I walked to Spanish class and I gave him a cheeky smile. He returned it.

I noticed Alex walking in the same direction as me, but a couple of people ahead. I weaved my way through and made it to him.

"Hey, giraffe," I said, having to look up at him.

"Hey, pipsqueak?" He replied, having to look down at me.

"Hey! I'm not that short!"

Alex chuckled, "Ya you are."

I knew I couldn't win the argument, so fuck it.

We made it to the front of Spanish class, Alex opened the door.

"Ladies first," he said.

"Then go," I smirked.

"Why is David friends with you?" He said, actually walking in the class before me.

I won this one.

"Cause I'm awesome," I sweetly replied.

"Sure," Alex said sarcastically, messing up my hair.

I didn't really give a shit if someone touched my hair. But if they touched my body, somebody's gonna die.

The class starts filing in.

Unlike me, Alex likes to sit in the front of the class. And I decided fuck it, Spanish is my worst subject and I need all the teaching I can get.

Like the rest of my classes, the teacher introduced them self, took attendance, then did an ice break.

Ryan was also in the class, but I made extra precaution to avoid him.

I did it. I survived the first day. Now like a thousand more to go.
