Chapter 10: Masquerade Birthday Party!!!

"Okay, let's go then," I said.

I grabbed my bag and we headed out to the mall. We arrived at the mall, I went to a different store to buy my dress, I found myself starting at a light blue dress, I went in the store and talked to one of the girl staffs.

"Excuse me, do you have a size for that dress," I said pointing to the mannequin that was wearing the dress.

"Yes, what size would you like?" She asked.

"Do you have a small?" I asked.

"Of course, I'll be right back with the dress," she said going at the back.

I waited for a while then she came out holding the dress.

"Here you go, would you like to try it on?" She asked.

"Yes please," I said.

"Alright, please follow me," she said.

She showed me the changing rooms and hanged up the dress on the hook of one of the dressing rooms.

"Thank you, Uhm can I ask for a favour?" I asked.

"Sure," she smiled.

"Uhm can you please tell me if I look okay in that dress once I'm done, because I don't really know what will look good on me," I said.

"Of course," she smiled again.

"Oh thank you so much," I said smiling back at her and went into the change room to try on the dress.

When I was done I fixed my hair a bit even though there was no mirror.

"This is why I don't shop alone, I don't even know if this looks okay," I said looking down at the dress.

I quickly unlocked the door and stepped out, when I came out the girl saw me and her eyes widened.

"Is it okay?" I asked looking in the mirror on the other side of the door.

"You look so....beautiful," she said still looking at me.

"Really?" I asked.

"Yes, it brings out your eyes, it's perfect for you," she said coming near me.

"Are you sure?" I said still looking at the mirror.

"I am, I saw a lot of girls try on that dress, but none of them looked this beautiful," she said.

"You're too kind," I said.

"I'm serious, it's so perfect for you," she said.

"Thank you so much," I said.

"No problem," she said backing away.

"I'll get it, and thank you again for doing this," I said going back into the change room.

"Anytime, I'll be at the register when your ready," she said walking away.

I took the dress off and placed it back on the hanger, I quickly wore my clothes and got out of the change room. I walked towards the counter and paid for the dress, the girl placed it inside a dress bag.

"Thank you," I said taking the bag.

"No problem," she smiled.

I left the shop and walked around to look for shoes to match the dress, I walked around for a while when something caught my attention, silver pumps, I went to the store and bought the shoes.
