ddot and star were casually on ig live promoting ddot's song that star was featured in titled 'my baby'. his phone stood on his ring light that was facing them, as they were both sat on the front of his bed next to each other but with a gap between.
"make sure yall keep streaming my baby ya let's get it to 10 mill" ddot spoke to the live as he waved his blunt around causing star to scrunch her nose up cause she hated the smell of smoke.
"bro cut that out don't be waving that in my face" star dramatically waved her hand to clear the smoke, which prevented it from coming her direction as ddot smirked shaking his head.
"my fault" he completely turned his whole body so he wasn't even facing the live anymore, as his back was also turned to star, making her side eye him. obviously he was tryna get a reaction out of her.
"you ain't even have to do all that foe.. but you do you" star leaned slightly forward so she could get a closer look at what people were saying in the comments. her face pulling concerned expressions as she realised how unhinged people were.
"these comments are crazy foe" star shook her head as ddot's attention turned back to his phone.
"why what they said?" his eyes glanced over the live as his smile widened as he saw the assumptions about them dating.
"nah yall buggin we just friends that's it" as star nodded in agreement, as they both quickly glanced at each other smirking which could've suggested otherwise.
ddot and star strolled into the clothing store, the neon lights reflecting off the displays as they browsed the racks. the soft hum of music played in the background, and star's eyes darted around, searching for something that caught her interest. ddot, on the other hand, walked with a relaxed swagger, glancing at his phone occasionally but mostly watching star out of the corner of his eye.
as they moved further into the store, star's eyes suddenly lit up when she spotted a hoodie. it was pink with a spider web design that looked both edgy and cute. she pulled it off the rack, turning to ddot with a grin.
"this one's cute as hell! we should get matching hoodies," she said, holding the hoodie up to show him, excitement clear in her voice.
ddot glanced at the hoodie, his face immediately giving away his thoughts. pink wasn't really his thing. he rubbed his chin thoughtfully, eyeing the hoodie, but more importantly, noticing how hyped star was. she stood there, waiting for his reaction, her eyes big with anticipation.
"you know i don't really mess with pink like that," ddot muttered, frowning at the hoodie like it had offended him personally.
star rolled her eyes dramatically, "but we'd look cute matching! don't front. you ain't gotta wear it every day. just for the pictures, c'mon."
ddot let out a sigh, knowing he was already losing this battle. "aight, lemme see this." he grabbed the hoodie from her hands, looking at it for a moment before smirking. "i guess for you, i'll make an exception."
star's eyes lit up even brighter, her grin spreading wide across her face. "you serious? thought you hated pink," she teased, nudging him playfully.
he shrugged, trying to play it cool, but the way she smiled made his heart do this little flip he couldn't ignore. "yeah, i do. buttt you special or whatever. i'll match with you, but don't expect me to be rockin' this out in the streets every day."
star laughed, "oh, don't worry. i ain't tryna embarrass you like that."
ddot grabbed another hoodie in his size and tossed it over his shoulder, walking towards the checkout without a second thought. star trailed behind, still smiling, not realizing how much that small gesture meant to her. she knew ddot wasn't the type to go for this kind of stuff, but the fact that he was willing to just for her? that said a lot.
