I had a dream star and ddot dated so i had to make it a reality😝Ddot was becoming an internet sensation. His latest single was climbing the charts, and everyone was talking about his upcoming music video for his new album. He wanted this one to be special, to have a vibe that no one else was touching. That's when he came across Star's music. She was raw, had bars for days, and her voice had that gritty edge that was perfect for the track.
"Yo, get me Star on this," Ddot told his manager, running a hand through his twists, as he sat back in his studio chair. He'd seen her videos, knew she could spit, but there was something else about her that intrigued him. She had a presence that was hard to ignore.
A few days later, Star walked into the studio. Ddot was mid conversation with his crew when she stepped in, dressed in a black bomber jacket, ripped jeans, and her beautiful long cornrows, that were braided up to her back. She had that confidence that made everyone turn and look.
"Star, what's good?" Ddot greeted her, standing up and giving her a quick dap. "glad you could make it. You ready to body this track?"
Star smirked, her eyes glinting with that same spark he'd seen in her videos. "Always ready. Let's get into it."
The video shoot was hectic, but Ddot was in his element. He was used to the chaos, the cameras, the people shouting directions. What he wasn't used to was how much he found himself watching Star. Whether she was running through her verse or just chilling between takes, he couldn't take his eyes off her.
At one point, during a break, Ddot walked over to where Star was sitting, scrolling through her phone. "You good?" he asked, leaning down slightly so only she could hear him.
She looked up, meeting his gaze. "Yeah, I'm cool. This your usual setup?"
"Nah," he said with a small smile, "I mean, it's always lit, but you...you brought something different. It's like the energy shifted when you walked in."
Star laughed softly, shaking her head. "You a smooth talker, huh?"
"Nah, I'm just real with it. I see something I like, I gotta say it."
She didn't say anything, just raised an eyebrow at him, but Ddot noticed the slight curve of her lips. He decided to push it a little further. As they got ready for the next scene, which had them posted up on a rooftop with the city lights behind them, Ddot casually wrapped his arm around her waist.
"Just for the shot," he said, voice low so only she could hear.
Star looked at him, her expression unreadable, but she didn't pull away. "Right. Just for the shot."
But Ddot knew it wasn't just that. He could feel the chemistry between them, and by the way she shifted closer to him, he knew she felt it too.
The video shoot went on into the night, and by the time they wrapped up, everyone was buzzing. The energy was high, and the whole crew knew they had something special. But the real surprise came a few days later when the behind-the-scenes footage started circulating online.
"Yo, Ddot, have you seen this?" one of his boys asked, shoving his phone in Ddot's face.
Ddot looked at the screen and saw a clip of him and Star, him with his arm around her waist, both of them laughing at something. The comments were wild, fans going crazy about how good they looked together.
"Damn, they really trippin'," Ddot muttered, though he couldn't help but smirk.
"Y'all lookin' real cozy," his boy teased. "What's up with that?"
