"Guys are your bags packed?!" i shouted as me and madelyn dragged our bags for my parents house from my room.

"Just finished." lily smiled as she came out of the guest room, oscar carrying the bags behind.

"Osc i'm sorry but i can't carry this bag, help me?" i smiled innocently.

"Fine, just go get in the car i'll be a while." he sighed as he carried all of our bags down.

Once we had everything oscar shut the trunk of his car and began driving. Our parents house was only a half an hour drive down the coast. So with the views being pretty i loved this drive.

"Oh my babies!" my mum smiled as she pulled me and oscar into a tight hug.

"Mumma we can't breathe." i laughed as she let us go.

"Sorry.." she laughed softly moving out of the way so we could come inside.

"Madelyn, lily how are you both!" my mum smiled as she gave them another tight hug.

"I'm good thank you nicole." lily grinned politely.

"Same here." madelyn agreed, nodding.

"Great, Chris, kids are here!" she shouted as my dad came running down the stairs.

"Oh i've missed you both!" my dad laughed pulling us into a tight hug.

My family and tight hugs...

"Missed u too dad." oscar laughed.

"Right you guys go get sorted and we're gonna make whatever meals you want!" my mum said, as we grabbed our bags heading upstairs.

As i opened the door to my childhood bedroom, madelyn right behind, i sighed. Being back home brought me the best memories.

"I remember we used to play barbie's right there!" madelyn giggled as we chatted away about our childhood memories together.

"Right better get unpacked!" i sighed as me and madelyn spent the next hour unpacking.

After a few arguments between me and oscar about what food our mum should cook for us. We finally decided on Lamb chops.

As we dug in we spent the night catching up with my parents about things we had missed. Me and oscar never admitted it but we always missed home and when we were back we didn't what to leave.

I was woken up by a cold sensation falling on my face. Oscar stood above me with a cheeky smile and a cup of cold water in hand.

"Wakey wakey." he smirked.

"You little shit!" i squeeled as i jumped out of bed chasing him around the house.

"God they're still like children." my mum laughed shaking her head.

"They act like this all the time.." lily smiled as she watched me and oscar fight.
