The past week i had spent curled up in my apartment, coco clinging to my side.

Over this time i realised how deeply i liked lando, maybe even loved. The way i felt when we were apart was undeniable.

I wanted to reach out, i did. But i couldn't, i wouldn't beg for a man to speak to me again.

Today i finally decided to get ready, i took a shower, washing my hair and getting ready into some comfy clothes before drying and straightening my hair. I only applied a little makeup.

I cleaned up the apartment, making sure it looked tidy before taking a seat back on the sofa.

I clicked on lando's profile, maybe i was obsessed, but i just wanted to know he was okay.

He was playing golf with max today. He looked happy. God why did i care so much?

I sighed as i leant my head back, groaning to myself. I needed to get out.

I grabbed my bag and keys before opening the door. I stopped dead still.

Lando was stood outside of my apartment, nervous, with a massive bouquet of flowers in his hand.

"W-what are you.. doing?" i asked as i took a step back.

"Sorry... i planned out like what to say but then when i got here... Actually forget it erm, these are for you. An apology. For how horrible i was too you. I shouldn't have taken my anger out on you. I need to learn to let people in." he sighed as he passed me the flowers.

"Lando.. thank you. I'm glad you apologised and i'm glad you're here." i said a small smile on my face.

"Are you sure? i get if you don't forgive-"

I cut him off as i pulled him into a hug. I craved his warmth. His touch. "I forgive you."

He nodded as he hugged me tighter, a small sigh leaving his lips.

"Come in." i said as i led him inside, shutting the door behind him as i grabbed a vase for the flowers.

"I missed you." he said as he wrapped his arms around my waist.

"I missed you too, probably too much."

He chuckled as he kissed my cheek, "I'm sorry for being so horrible, i regret it so much. I wanted to come over but i just couldn't convince myself but pietra kind of screamed at me today..."

I laughed, "P screamed at you?"

He nodded, "Yeah she wasn't very happy with what i did..."

"I'm gonna thank P for that."

He smiled as he kissed my cheek one more time before playing with coco.

As we snuggled up on the sofa for the night, coco lay, asleep between us. I knew it. I knew i loved lando norris. I just needed to tell him...
