I hadn't spoken to oscar in a week. I had spent most of my time with lando as he attempted to cheer me up. Lily kept me updated with oscar, saying he was quite upset.

Our parents were distraught with the news, but they knew that oscar was mainly in the wrong.

I sighed as i scanned my paddock pass, this would be awkward.

I waved at a few of the drivers as i passed through, i entered the mclaren garage. The air immediately changing.

I glanced around for anyone, lily sat in the corner with oscar, who wouldn't even look at me. She sent me a small smile.

"Hey sophia." Tom, oscar engineer smiled softly.

"Hey, doing okay?" i asked.

"Yeah yeah all good. I uh.. heard about you and oscar stuff. He'll forgive you soon. But he's really upset."

I glanced over at my brother who was staring right at us, he turned away quickly. "I feel so bad.. we was gonna tell him, i was just scared." i sighed as i played with my rings.

"I get it, oscar will realise soon enough. Don't let it ruin your weekend kid." he smiled as he patted my shoulder before walking away.

I made my way down the corridor to landos room. No need to hide it from the team anymore.

"Hey love.." lando smiled as he pulled me into a hug. "How you doing?"

I shrugged as i sat beside him, laying my head on his chest. "Okay i guess."

Lando looked at me, he knew i was lying, "How are you really?"

"He won't even look at me."

"He will get over it soon, he needs time. He still loves you soph." lando said as he rubbed my hair.

"I know, it's hard. Me and oscar never fight, and if we do we make up the next day."

Lando pulled apart as he looked at me straight, "Oscar knows he's wrong, he knows how much i love you. I told him, lily did, madelyn everyone. He just needs to believe it."

I nodded as i kissed his cheek, "I love you, good luck today."

"Don't need luck when i have my lucky charm." he winked.

I laughed softly as i placed my bag in his wardrobe. We made our way out as he got ready for the race.

Lando sent me a smile as he placed his helmet on getting into his car. I glanced over at oscar who was placing on his mask. He looked drained...

I made my way over to lily, she smiled as he pulled me into a hug, "How are you?"

"I'm okay, i guess i just need to accept he need time."

She nodded slowly, "I spoke to him about it all, he feels horrible... he just hates the fact you lied to him. We uh- actually had an argument, because he found out i knew as well." she sighed softly, as she glanced at the screen showing the boys taking their places on the grid.
