The Maldives were everything i had imagined and more—turquoise waters stretching endlessly into the horizon, white sandy beaches that seemed to glisten under the sun, and an air of calm that could only be described as paradise. It was the perfect setting for our first family holiday with Lando and Hugo.

I stood on the deck of our overwater villa, the soft sea breeze brushing against my skin as i cradled Hugo in my arms. He was bundled in a light muslin blanket, his tiny chest rising and falling in a steady rhythm. The peaceful sound of waves below seemed to lull him into a deeper sleep.

Lando emerged from inside the villa, wearing a white linen shirt and shorts, his hair tousled from the humidity. He carried two mugs of coffee, setting them down on the small table before walking over to me.

"Look at him," Lando whispered, wrapping his arms around my waist from behind and resting his chin on my shoulder. "Out like a light."

I smiled, leaning into him. "He loves the sound of the waves. Can't blame him—it's so peaceful here."

Lando pressed a kiss to my temple, and for a moment, the world felt perfectly still. Just the three of us, surrounded by the serenity of the ocean.

"Let's sit," he suggested, gently taking Hugo from my arms. The sight of Lando cradling our son never failed to melt my heart. He settled into one of the cushioned chairs on the deck, holding Hugo close as i took the seat next to him.

"So," Lando began, glancing at me with a grin. "What's on the agenda for today, Mama?"

"I think Hugo's already decided—lots of naps, cuddles, and maybe a little paddle in the water later."

Lando chuckled, brushing a thumb over Hugo's tiny hand. "Sounds like my kind of day."

The morning passed in a blur of quiet moments—feeding Hugo as the sunlight streamed into the villa, dipping my toes into the warm ocean as Lando held Hugo against his chest, and capturing photos of our little family against the stunning backdrop of paradise.

By late afternoon, the three of us were sprawled on a large daybed under a canopy on the beach. Hugo lay between me and Lando, his tiny fingers clutching the edge of a soft blanket.

"Look at this guy," Lando said, his voice filled with wonder. "Four months old, and he's already living the dream."

I laughed, propping myself up on my elbow to look at them. "Takes after his dad, doesn't he? Traveling the world, loving the spotlight."

Lando smirked, but there was a softness in his eyes as he gazed at Hugo. "He's got the best of both of us. But I think he's already a mama's boy."

My heart swelled at his words, and i reached over to intertwine my fingers with his. "We're so lucky to have him. And to have this," i said, gesturing to the beach around us.

Lando squeezed my hand. "No, I'm the lucky one. I've got you, Hugo, and moments like this. Nothing else matters."

As the sun began to set, painting the sky with hues of pink and orange, Lando pulled me closer. Hugo stirred briefly, letting out a soft coo before settling again.

Moments like these i cherished the most.

The morning light danced across the calm turquoise waters as i stepped onto the deck.

Hugo had just drifted off to sleep after a morning feed, his tiny fingers still curled around the edge of his blanket. I smiled, breathing in the salty sea breeze as Lando appeared behind me, wrapping his arms around my waist.
