Las vegas was always one of those races that was incredible, i think the main good part was that the centre was right by. The amazing line of casinos, hotels and the expensive cars lined up. It reminded me of Monaco just more... loud?

However nerves were running high, this race would decide if lando had the chance to win the championship.

Vegas last year wasn't the best for lando, he crashed which ended in him being sent to the hospital, not the best race.

He had been i guess MIA for the last few days, he had his head down, constantly at work he wanted to do his best.

It was the second day of the race, so me, lando, lily and oscar met up in the hotel for an early  dinner.

This weekend would either be filled with celebrations or... well, i wasn't quite sure.

I got ready for the day, slipping on some cargo pants with a white cropped vest and the mclaren bomber jacket i got given.

With it being not far from winter in america, it wasn't the warmest in vegas.

"Ready to fill your mouth with amazing burgers?" lando grinned as we walked down to the lobby.

"Is that even a question?" i giggled.

In the hotel it was buffet, it included loads of different selections, burgers, fruit, chicken nuggets, literally anything, you name it.

I filled my plate with some fries and some nuggets as we all took a seat. (yes i am basic).

It was quite a relaxed dinner, just us chatting away.

I guess you could say calm before the storm?

"How you guys feeling about this weekend?" lily asked as she munched on some fries.

Oscar shrugged, "I mean, it's gonna be tough, the team have been looking at the track and it's gonna be hard to get around."

Lando nodded along, "Yeah it's not looking the best, but we'll get a good idea after these practice's and quali."

"Well me and lils will be cheering from the garage."

Lily chuckled, "Maybe not too loud, zack glared at us when we squeeled too loud last time."

I giggled nodding, "He wasn't very happy."

We all laughed as we finished up our meals, grabbing a drink before we left for the track.

Obviously due to it being a difficult track, the best time to race was later at night, today practice was at 6:30pm and qualifying was at 9pm.

We got to the track for 4, so the boys had time to prepare, do some media etc.

Me and lily met up with a few of the girls, kika, becca and alex.

"Ugh i needed this." becca sighed as we sat at the paddock bar.

"Mm me too." alex grinned.
