"James, have I ever told you how gorgeous your eyes are?"

"What?" James look at her in shock. Now locking eye contact, he noticed a new fondness in her eyes when she looked at him. Bridget had never looked at him in such a way before and it was freaking him out. Unsurprisingly, the others wore the same shocked expression.

"Your eyes...they're such pretty colour." She fixed her dreamy gaze onto him. "Gosh, your hair is just as majestic."

"What exactly did you put in that cupcake, Morgie?" James asked accusingly as he glared at the trembling boy in front of him.

"Nothing! All I added was sugar, flour, eggs, butter......a love spell." He trailed off and got quieter as he spoke.

"What was that at the end?" Red added. "Yeah you just kinda trailed off." Chloe said as she got off the skateboard and stood beside red. Bridget, on the other hand, was clinging onto James as if her life depended on it. Leaning her head on his shoulder, she found a sense of comfort in his presence. Not like he minded. James happily let it happen, completely forgetting the fact that he had a girlfriend at that moment.

"I added a love potion! Okay! Sue me." Morgie came clean.

James stared at Morgie, his expression a mixture of disbelief and anger. The realization that Bridget's sudden affection was the result of Morgie's scheme was sinking in, and he struggled to process the absurdity of the situation. Bridget, meanwhile, continued to look up at James with starry-eyed admiration, completely oblivious to the chaos around her.

"Seriously?" James exclaimed, trying to maintain his composure. "A love potion? That's what you put in the cupcake?"

Red and Chloe exchanged glances, both looking equally shocked and intrigued. Red commented, her tone incredulous. "That's a bit extreme, don't you think?"

Chloe, her eyes wide with a mix of curiosity and concern, chimed in, "You know, it's not exactly okay to mess with people's feelings like that, right? Especially with something as serious as a love potion."

Morgie, now thoroughly flustered, nodded rapidly. "Yes, I know, but I had to! I thought it would help with the plan..." Realising his slip up, Morgie shut himself up.

"Plan? What plan?" Something clicked in Red's head. This had to be Hilde's plan to get revenge on Bridget.

"No plan! There is definitely no plan at all! No plan whatsoev-" Hook slapped his hand over Morgie's mouth to stop him for revealing any further secrets.

"His plan to ask Bridget to Castlecoming! He felt bad after overhearing that she didn't have a date." Hook tried to save Morgie.

Bridget, still leaning into James's shoulder, seemed to have missed the entire conversation. Her gaze remained fixed on James, her smile dreamy. "You know, James, I never really noticed how charming you are. I always thought it was just your confidence, but now I see it's more than that."

James looked down at Bridget, his heart pounding with a mixture of confusion and a sense of responsibility. "Bridget," he started, trying to gently remove her from his shoulder, "I think we need to talk about this. I don't want you to be under any sort of spell or enchantment."
