James stood there, dumbfounded, processing the revelation. "But... if that's the case, then why did she act like she was under a spell?"

"Maybe she was just trying to make sense of her feelings, or perhaps she was just confused by the whole situation. Either way, it seems like your feelings for her might be mutual."

"Where the hell did you get that assumption from? We're barely even friends and you think that I like her? Ridiculous." Hook shook his head in disbelief as Rapunzel simply laughed.

"Relax, I'm just playing with ya. Knowing Bridget, she probably has a better, more logical reason. You should probably talk to her about this." She paused, unsure if she should continue. "Maybe even get to know her a little better." She giggled as Hook rolled his eyes and headed to the door.

Before he left, he turned around to face the blonde princess. "Thanks, Rapunzel. You were.... somewhat helpful,"

"Yeah, right. If I was only 'somewhat helpful', don't even bother asking for help when you face problems in art class."

With a chuckle and a nod, Hook left her dorm room feeling a little more relaxed about the whole situation.

Meanwhile, on the other side of Merlin Academy, Red and Chloe were holed up in their dorm, their conversation a mix of frustration and concern. Red lay face-down on her bed, her mood matching her now fully blackened arm. It was spreading at an alarming rate and the girls were getting desperate.

"Do you think there's a way for you to coexist with Bridget and Hook?" Chloe tried to reason with the pessimistic girl opposite her.

"No way. It's just not going to work out," Red mumbled into her pillow, her words muffled by the fabric. She pulled her pillow tighter around her, as if trying to block out her worries.

Chloe sighed and gently tugged at Red's arm. Her once bright red nails were now completely dull and grey. "Come on, get up. We need to think of a solution. There has to be someone who knows more about this magic stuff."

Red begrudgingly rolled off the bed as Chloe pulled her to her feet. They decided to take a stroll around campus, hoping that a change of scenery might help clear their minds.

Just then, they spotted Hook walking down the hallway. Chloe's face lit up with sudden inspiration.

"Hook! Hey, Hook!" Chloe called out, waving her arms to get his attention.

Hook turned, looking slightly annoyed but curious. "What is it now?"

"Do you happen to kno-"

"Chloe this is never going to wor-"

"Shh! Do you happen to know anyone that's really good with magic? Someone nice, preferably...heh,"

Hook was about to walk away, when something in his brain clicked. "Actually," He paused for dramatic effect. "I just might know the person you're looking for,"

"Oh! Hello... um..." The blonde princess fumbled, clearly trying to recall the names of the unexpected visitors standing at her door.

"Chloe and Red. It's nice to meet you!" Chloe introduced them with a warm smile.

"Right, Chloe and Red. Sorry, I'm not the best with names," Rapunzel said with a sheepish grin as she ushered them inside. She gestured for them to take a seat while she cleared away the dishes left by Hook.
