She came back home disappointed at her failure and immensely frustrated after finding out that school ends at 5:00 pm,when evening nears.
After coming back, she was greeted with an empty home,setting down the keys with a brown teddy shaped keychain with the words 'home' written in the middle of a small red heart.
She wandered into the kitchen after slinging her bag to the sofa, hoping to find Gilbert, but instead she found several warm dishes on the counter with a handwritten note beside them.
"All of this has been prepared by the cook who'll leave before you come back so you won't be disturbed. I hope you will like everything."
"I'm sorry I won't be home for a while, establishing a new branch takes time but don't worry, it's almost done."
"I will try to be with you as soon as I can."

"He...really is a considerate man."
She folded the note instead of crumbling it and put it in her uniform's pocket. She didn't bother to change and decided to eat.
The food was delicious, really. All the different delights she'd never tasted were in front of her, but they all didn't have that charming taste they should've had. She knew the chefs had done their job correctly and that it's just her feeling off.
"Mind if I join in, host?" The sudden voice of the system from her left startled her, but said nothing which it took note of.
"You've been silent the entire time after that stunt with Shen Xia- I mean Xue."
"You probably wouldn't listen even if I said no." She scoffed,picking up another piece of honey glazed, stir fried chicken.
Okay, maybe she did have an appetite.
"Hmph, I'm just asking how you were,most hosts I've seen don't give up so easily." System stood up on its hind legs and extended its paw to take the chicken out of her fork into its mouth.
"What the....you know you can just pick it up from the plate right? Actually no, don't put your muddy paws into my food." She rebuked as her mood turned even more sour at the system.
"Hey! I'm the reason why you're even here in the first place eating such delicious food!" System crossed its arms while it stood proudly,its tail flared up.
