Wonwoo was two hours and forty-three minutes late to work. On top of that, he had a killer headache and the noise of central Hongdae was not helping. He was wearing yesterday's clothes as he didn't want to risk running home and having Mr. Kim angrier at him. Unfortunately, his clothes reeked of alcohol and some other order Wonwoo couldn't quite identify and didn't want to. He pushed open the door and glared at the bell tinkling above him as it sent a pain through his throbbing head. He carefully looked around and to his relief, Mr. Kim was nowhere to be seen. He was slightly peeved as he realized he could have at least showered and changed before working, but it was too late now. He was there and he needed to get to work.

He shuffled tiredly to the coffee pot and poured some into his designated black mug. He relished the warmth of the coffee and its strong smell. He grabbed an extra hangover reliever he kept behind the counter and downed it along with the coffee. He let out a large sigh, feeling the caffeine course its way through his system. It was starting to wake him up bit by bit and he didn't feel like a drill was buzzing through his head anymore. He took his place behind the counter, sipped the remainder of his coffee, and flicked through a random magazine he had found on one of the shelves.

When Sungcheol came for his daily lunch and chat, Wonwoo's headache was completely gone. However, he was sure that his friend's chatter would bring it right back. Luck seemed to be on Wonwoo's side, though, as the older stumbled in wearing sunglasses and cradling his head.

"Wonwoo, please give me coffee." He begged. "I think I'm dying." He slumped down in one of the chairs. "Also, if you have anything else that would help, that would be wonderful."

Wonwoo looked around the store once more to make sure Mr. Kim hadn't snuck in or something before he poured his suffering friend a cup of coffee. He used Soonyoung's blue tiger mug, hoping the other wasn't in the same state when he arrived for his shift later that afternoon. He gave the steaming cup to Sungcheol as well as the other reliever he had. Sungcheol thanked him as he downed both. He sighed in relief just as Wonwoo had done.

Wonwoo joined him at the table and looked into the bag that Sungcheol brought with him. It only contained two gimbap triangles and water. It was a disappointing lunch, but Wonwoo was in no position to complain about free food so he took one of each and handed the bag back to Sungcheol who finished the rest of his coffee in one gulp.

"So, what happened to you last night?" He asked taking a bite from his gimbap. "We spent like an hour looking for you before Jeonghan remembered that you left ahead of us."

Wonwoo paused eating, feeling awkward. Should he tell his friend what exactly happened? Would that change his view of him? Did it matter? All he did was sleep with someone. A one-night stand. Plenty of people had those. It was normal, right? Surely, it wasn't normal to have their kid looking at you the next morning, but Wonwoo was sure he could just omit that detail.

"I went home with someone." He finally admitted.

Sungcheol seemed pleasantly surprised. "I'm proud of you for putting yourself out there like that."

Wonwoo blushed, not favoring this kind of attention. "It's not that big of a deal." He muttered.

"But it is." Sungcheol insisted. "After your last breakup, I thought you were going to become a monk or something."

Wonwoo rolled his eyes. "Stop exaggerating."

Before the older could tease him any further, Soonyoung arrived to start his afternoon shift. Despite drinking more than Wonwoo and most likely more than Sungcheol, he looked extremely sober, almost brighter than normal. It made Wonwoo want to vomit. Soonyoung happily made his way over to his friends and gave them a bright blinding smile. Wonwoo wanted to slap it off of him and by the wince Sungcheol gave, Wonwoo could tell he wanted to do the same.
