A whole week had passed and Mingyu and Wonwoo were still on their trial boyfriends run. It was going smoothly, but Wonwoo, ever the skeptic, kept waiting for the catch. He waited for Mingyu to realize how flawed and troublesome he was, but it never happened. Mingyu seemed to like him even more these days. The only downside was Wonwoo's friends. They had made him spill what happened and after teasing him for the cheesiness of it all, they waited like clockwork for Mingyu to pick him up. Wonwoo even began staying an hour later at the store so they could leave together, an idea Soonyoung had never let him live down.

"So, what are you guys going to do tonight?" Jeonghan asked from one of the tables.

It was piled with binders and various pages torn from magazines. He and Sungcheol were still planning their wedding, but they had to be nosy about Wonwoo's life as well. So, they just combined the two, much to the annoyance of Mr. Kim. He always gave the couple a disapproving side eye whenever he came into the store, but he never said anything.

Wonwoo shrugged from the counter. He was learning that Mingyu acted a lot on impulse and liked surprises. Wonwoo didn't have the heart to tell him that he didn't, so he always went along with it.

"He never tells me."

Sungcheol, who was standing behind his fiance looked away from one of the binders and looked up at Wonwoo.

"Don't you ever plan anything?"

Wonwoo shook his head. He couldn't plan anything. He couldn't think of anything interesting or exciting that would impress Mingyu. He was a homebody.

"So, Mingyu is the one putting in all of the effort?" Soonyoung asked from beside him.

He started coming to the store earlier and earlier. He practically lived there. Wonwoo felt uncomfortable by Soonyoung's question, but it wasn't like he was wrong. Mingyu was the one putting in all the effort in their trial. He was just along for the ride. He felt guilty about it, but it seemed that was their dynamic so far.

"It's not like that." Wonwoo tried.

"It is," Soonyoung argued. "You're a lazy boyfriend."

Wonwoo let out a frustrated groan. "I have no idea what to do."

"Then keep it simple," Jeonghan suggested. "Stick to the stuff you know, but let him know that you're thinking about him."

Wonwoo considered his friend's words. Stick to what he knew. He would have to think about that. "Thanks. I think I'll be able to think of something."

Jeonghan smiled back before turning his attention to the magazine he was previously flipping through. "Okay, the white carnations or the red tulips?" He asked Sungcheol.

He examined both pictures and then shrugged. "They both look nice."

Jeonghan huffed. "Well, yes, of course they do, but which one looks prettier?"

Sungcheol shrugged again. "I think they're the same."

Jeonghan rolled his eyes. "And I think you're blind. I may as well ask the fucking wall." He eyed Wonwoo next. "What's your opinion?"

Wonwoo frowned. "Why are you asking me?"

"Because if I ask Soonyoung, he'll just tell me to get the most expensive one."

Wonwoo couldn't argue with that, so he approached him and viewed both pictures. He pointed to another flower underneath the carnations. They were daisies. Jeonghan considered them for a moment and a grin appeared on his face.

"Jeon Wonwoo, you're a genius. They're perfect. Thank you."

"Boyfriend approaching!" Soonyoung yelled from the door.
