"I told him no." I say, still a little shocked by his sudden confession so randomly.

"But-"

"Tom, after you came to my dorm, I texted Draco. It doesn't feel right having a valentine if it's not you." I admit, the vibe between us getting more tense by the second.

"I'm very serious about what I said, Y/n." He says and I blush.

"Really? You don't seem like the type of person to celebrate these traditions." I tilt my head a little, smiling.

"I don't. Only for you, sweetheart."

"And they say romance is dead." I say, smiling and shaking my head.

"How much convincing will it take for you to go out with me so I can buy you a new dress. I wanna take you to the dance."

I try to contain my excitement, but am literally falling for him on the inside.

"Loads." He blinks.

"I'm kidding, stupid." I giggle when he lets out a breath.

"I've missed you." Tom says when I get up, placing a hand on my waist.

"Just for the record, you're mine now." He said, kissing my forehead.

Best Valentines ever. The dance was beautiful.

"What do you mean?"

"It means I wish I was in Blaise's place. I've always wanted to date you."

I frown softly, holding back a grin. The words I've always wanted to hear.

"Why not ask me out then?" I say, subconsciously reaching out and touching his hair, making his cheeks tint pink.

"I'm not sure, Y/n. I'm sorry. I just got so caught up in... everything that it completely slipped my mind."

"And when I was going to find you, I saw you with Blaise. I really like you, Y/n."

My heart flutters and my relationship with Dray feels completely different now.

"I'm not dating Blaise. I promise. He just wantes to make Luna jealous. I don't even like him."

"Break it off with him. Be with me. You don't like him anyway. I should've askes you out earlier, I know." Draco blurts out almost instantly and I chuckle.

I walk away frlm him as the bell rings, swaying my hips suggestively. "I'll see what I can do!" I tease, making him smirk and shake his head.

Soon after, I do explain the stuation to Blaise who takes it really well; there was nothing to be upset over.

"You look stunning You're gorgeous." Draco says the day of Valentines as he picks me up for our date.

"I definitely made the right choice." I say, smiling and fixing his tie.
