In every universe, our counterparts lead lives filled with unique beginnings and stories that differ from our own. In a parallel world set within the Pride Lands, Taka, Scar's counterpart, was never given the name Scar, as he was never bitten by a cobra. In this alternate reality, Taka is a noble lion and the guardian of a sacred tree, dedicated to protecting his home alongside his mate, Shanti, and their three children: Kinai, Koda, and Kida, who also aid in safeguarding the tree. Meanwhile, the malevolent lions, Kailar (Taka's childhood friend) and Raiji (Kailar's master), plot to seize control not just of the Pride Lands but of all the universes. As Taka seeks assistance to thwart Kailar and Raiji's sinister plans, they conspire to resurrect their old ally, "Scar," Taka's counterpart. However, before delving further into the present conflict, we must trace Taka's story back to its very origins.

Unlike his counterpart Scar, Taka doesn't have lacks black tufts of fur on his elbows, a scar over his left eye, and darker fur. Unlike Scar, he does not possess any entitlement, jealousy, evil, hunch, manipulation, cunning, or ruthlessness. Taka speaks with an African accent.

Taka, the younger brother of Mufasa and the second-born prince of the Pride Lands, lived in harmony with his family. However, everything changed when he was called upon to lead the Lion Guard, a team responsible for protecting their home. Gifted with the powerful Roar of the Elders, Taka found himself in a pivotal role that he hadn't realized was his destiny.

King Ahadi and Queen Uru were worried about their youngest son taking on the responsibility of leading the Lion Guard. "Darling, I believe Taka would benefit from having someone to mentor him now that he possesses the Roar of the Elders," Queen Uru expressed to her husband. King Ahadi shared her concerns and began to brainstorm a solution.

He proposed an idea to Queen Uru, who responded thoughtfully, "Darling, that's brilliant! Rokai can impart all the knowledge Taka needs about being the leader of the Lion Guard and understanding the Circle of Life." King Ahadi nodded and confirmed, "I will call for Rokai tomorrow."

Rokai, a wise and knowledgeable lion whom King Ahadi deeply trusted, was the perfect mentor for Taka, ready to teach him vital lessons about himself, his role in life, and the delicate balance of the Circle of Life.

Taka carefully selected each lion he grew up with, recognizing their unique strengths. As The Leader, he embodied the fierce spirit of The Roar of The Elders, while his four companions Shujaa the Bravest, Jelani the Strongest, Kimbia the Fastest, and Ajabu the Keenest of Sight were honored to join him as part of the lion guard.

Since they were cubs, Taka, Shujaa, Jelani, Kimbia, and Ajabu have always looked out for one another, building a bond that transcended friendship and felt more like brotherhood. They cherished their close-knit relationships and were grateful for the connection they shared.

However, not everyone was pleased; Kailar, Taka's closest friend, felt left out.

When the news broke that Taka had become the new leader of the Lion Guard, Kailar wished to be part of the group. However, upon arriving at the Lion Guard lair, he was consumed by jealousy and anger. Taka had already selected Shujaa, Jelani, Kimbia, and Ajabu, leaving Kailar feeling rejected. Heart full of bitterness, he turned away, clutching his feelings of resentment tightly.

Taka, wanting to reach out, spotted Kailar at the foot of Pride Rock. As he got closer, he noticed the fury in Kailar's eyes. "Kailar, are you okay?" Taka inquired. Kailar shot back, his gaze filled with hatred. "You should have chosen me for the Lion Guard, Taka!" he growled. Taka attempted to reason with him, but Kailar's hostility escalated into a heated argument that caught Mufasa's attention.

Mufasa approached them, demanding to know what was happening. Taka and Kailar exchanged glances, and Taka sighed. "Let's talk somewhere else, Mufasa," he suggested, as he and Mufasa stepped away from the still-fuming Kailar.
